I have had a Slinger bag since early this Spring. I think that the exercises in the video really take advantages of the strengths of the Slinger Bag, and are very worthwhile. I find that I can get a really good workout with the Slinger, and I really don't miss the fact that the levels of speed and spin can't be regulated separately. I owned another machine that had those features, but it was more expensive, less portable and the set up time was a lot longer. I got rid of that old machine when the Slinger arrived, as the Slinger is a better fit for me. Thanks very much for the video!

@@dodgehemi5045 there is definitely no lack of topspin. Since it is a one wheel drive most people complain that it has too much topspin. It's mentioned in every review you'll see for the bag. Have you actually used one?

It's a dream to have this Slinger Bag. Top Tennis has been my favourite channel to learn better techniques and the coaches really motivated me to be a better player. Tq, especially Coach Simon.
We have one in our tennis club. The topspin is really aggressive. If you want to practice with it you have to be ready to move your feet, which is good, ai guess 😊. I booked the machine to practice today, and this video is great to give me some new ideas how to practice, thanks!
Wow. I hope to pick one up this year then. I really need a few workouts with a pro and then lots of practice to get my strokes grooved. When I was a kid and even into adulthood I would always hit on a wall and it's not ideal but still gives you LOTS of returns....
For 1.5 grand, the best ball machine without a doubt is the playmate tennis ball launcher. You can customize up to 11 drills and install the app. Got all types of adjustable spin with speeds up to 75 mph. Really want a review on it. Keep up the great work!!!
I would love to see an option to condense the size for transport/use with half the ball capacity (ie just big enough to accommodate one case of 72 balls when ball well compartment is zipped down to the smaller size... this would also make it more easily transportable and stored in small spaces, and accommodate carrying it in backpack mode of covering uneven terrain or snow getting it to the court. Also, as a beginner, I’d love the option to narrow the osolatation pattern

I’ve used the tennis tutor plus and I prefer the slingerbag overall except for the lack of adjustable spin feature. Sometimes you want to hit against flat or slice shots but you can’t do that with the slingerbag. The machine is very well built and can be used on any surface 👍 All the best Simon

If you have the slinger on the same side and reduce the speed right down, you get a good drop fed type of ball, good for working on creating the power yourself
I'm deciding between the slinger bag and a used lobster elite liberty. The fact that Slinger is a new company makes me nervous. Has anyone using the slinger bag had breakdowns or durability problems? How's the customer support and parts replacement? Thanks for any advice.
@@bhavukjain257 I bought the lobster elite liberty, new in the box, from a third party on ebay. $840. I love it so far, though the elevation knob sometimes slips its gears if you crank up the spin. Mostly, it's really great for feeding nice, flat balls at 60 mph all day! Super durable, so far. Long battery life, no jams, quiet (except for the oscillator, which makes a whining noise). I also chose the lobster because it's really easy to remove the housing to clean, modify, or change the battery. 2 throwing wheels>1 throwing wheel
Price is super attractive compared to other models but not being able to change the spin is not great. the last ball machine looked great but of course too expansive

I’d say the slingerbag is better all round. Two things I dislike are: 1. Can’t change spin rate, it’s set to heavy topspin all the time 2. Feeding tempo could be quicker for working on the volleys

At least in Canada or the US, consider a Silent Partner: fully adjustable top and backspin, top speed 95 mph, remote control, five hour battery, along with the standards of adjustable height, speed, frequency, and side to side sweep for 950 US dollars.
I also love my Silent Partner. I saw someone with the Slinger today, and it seems like a great price. I think the biggest advantage of the Silent Partner is the greater adjustability -- and for 3.5 and above players, the higher speeds above 45mph are very useful. Thanks, good video.

This Slinger bag is a good idea. But the shipping takes forever, after a week time from date of purchase you would not get a tracking#. And when I finally received mine not only it was damage but items were missing like balls, some parts are cracked. Very disappointing.

DISAPPOINTED! After watching some RUclips's intrudocution videos, I placed an order to buy a slinger bag (it said 3~4 weeks back-order. fine). TWO weeks after placing order, I received an email to inform me additional 1~2 weeks delay (still okay, but I guess Slinger hid this info purposely in the beginning). Now SEVEN weeks past, NO futher update from SlingerBag. The summer season will be passing soon, what a GREAT company cares the customer so much!

My 4 month old slinger bag's battery all of a sudden won't hold charge for more than 40 minutes. Slinger says battery is not under warranty and wants me to buy a new battery for a 4 month old slinger. The kicker is that their batteries are all sold out. Wonder why? defective battery perhaps. Its a shame because the machine is decent but the company is not a stand up company. Buyer beware.
That should be under warranty, no? they are being very short sighted. in the age of social media, if they take care of their customers, they will get rave reviews. Instead, they spend a ton on advertising and marketing yet when you contact them with a problem, the customer service is just awful.

Ballmaschine or basket Training is just to improve the coordonation or condinational Training and not Technic. The technic can be improved just in playing with a partner.

Time will tell if it stands up, I’ve had mine for 4-5 months but have only used it 5 times so I’m also keen to see how it does long term

I believe it is a lithium battery you can remove it and charge from an outlet reinstall off ya go…
What are the settings for volleys
You can adjust them, more power with lower trajectory, less power with higher fees. It depends on what you’re working on

best machine below 1500 dollars? What about Silent Partner they make great machines for low money as well... and Spitfire I hear is very good as well.
I haven't used either of those so I can't comment on them, if anyone has used them and can leave some feedback, that would be great

silent partner lite has spin controls and barely costs more
I haven't used that machine so can't comment on it does look good on paper

My 4 month old slinger bag's battery all of a sudden won't hold charge for more than 40 minutes. Slinger says battery is not under warranty and wants me to buy a new battery for a 4 month old slinger. The kicker is that their batteries are all sold out. Wonder why? defective battery perhaps. Its a shame because the machine is decent but the company is not a stand up company. Buyer beware.
I’ve had a few issues with my slinger too. The platform broke so I can’t use the change of direction function now
That should be under warranty, no? they are being very short sighted. in the age of social media, if they take care of their customers, they will get rave reviews. Instead, they spend a ton on advertising and marketing yet when you contact them with a problem, the customer service is just awful.

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial It's a business and you are a business too so you need to do ads but imo if you are paid to do a review it's a good policy to tell people this.
@@LegolasD We were not paid by slinger to do this video, it was on a voluntary basis and we liked the machine and have arranged a giveaway through the company for our online audience. When we do ads, you will see a message at the start of the video that says "This video includes a paid advertisement".
