Great lesson after getting the yips with the driver due to an overswing I had a complete rebuild. Took me 2 years to perfect but am now more consistent and longer. My backswing only goes to shoulder level but I come right through the downswing. My handicap is down from 22 to 15 and I’m a senior .

Man I love watching these lesson vids. The changes seem so simple and easy to digest and the results speak for themselves. I watch other teachers and a few of them seem so complicated in their approach. I enjoy the simple things

So impressed with Piers and Andy’s assessment and solution. My game has taken a huge step forward with longer distance and accuracy and consistency. The shorter swing removes the ‘power leak’ of the longer swing as the boys stated. A nicer duo you couldn’t meet! It was a privilege and I will be eternally grateful, thanks to both. Keep up the great work Piers and Andy. If you’re ever in my neck of the woods come and have a game at The Warwickshire 👍🏌️‍♂️👏

That's some great coaching and also listening / implementing. Been working on my swing speed / tempo and this week's range session saw a big improvement - there's a lot to be gained I think in terms of impact timing, club path and ball striking just by being less 'aggressive' throughout the swing.

During lockdown i worked hard changing to a compact 3/4 swing, back and through, best thing i ever did, increased distance, longer by a club per iron, driver plus 20 yards, straighter, strong penetrating flight

I have recently transitioned to a much smaller backswing and lost distance but more consistent for sure. Just trying to speed up the swing a bit to make up for the loss of yardage now

Fellows, since I started rehabilitating my golf swing in preparation for my come-back 9-hole round on our par 29 course, I have watched as many of your instructional videos as I could. I have tried to incorporate your teachings into my swing and honestly, it has shown massive improvement since the first day I dusted off my old clubs. This video, however, is the icing on the cake. I believe this is the one that ties it all together for me and is making my swing much more consistent with good, crisp ball contact and good accuracy. The smile on Paul's face when he started hitting that draw is priceless! Thanks again for all your great teaching and advice. I wish I could afford your courses, but for now, I'm very happy with what I've gleaned from your amazing videos.

One for the suggestion box - was watching Padraig achieve a perfect 1.50 smash factor.
How do the rest of us do that? 40 years of practise?

My coach has similar things for the swing path but has never worked with my take back or swing distance. When I'm with him he'll have me hitting nice draws and than I'll go to league and everything falls apart. Hopefully if i stay with it someday i can be consistent

@@meandmygolf. it helps that i have practice time indoors with the dial camera setup that you can slow motion and rewind after each swing. I like my coach in the sense that he got me from completely clueless to the basic setup and concept of the golf swing. I do question if he Can really get me to be better at this point though. He doesn’t do hands on just relies on the computer and repeating the same basics.

I suffer from over swing. My pro told me to take practice swings without turning my shoulders at all, so only my arms move, no movement in my hips or legs either. My first round I shot 47 stableford points. I’ve never struck balls so well.
