Back in the early 80's when I was 18 I went to California for the first time, Venice Beach area. The only Lowrider or Mexican street culture I saw was in Cheech and Chong movies. I'll never forget the first real lowrider I saw cruise by. I swear it was every stereotype in real life. Dude's car was like 76 Riviera, wicked flamed out paint, air dropped and dingle balls, I kid you not every window has little dingle balls lining them. I remember the guy had a big ass brimmed hat has was wearing a wife beater T. Like I say it was straight out of the movies and left a huge impression on the small town kid I was. :)
