Film Fangirls honesly me too. I just love lydia alot morr, shes alot less depressing... and bj is funnier imo. But i havent seen the mvie in a long time
Did you know that when bjis sings the whole being dead thing the background is actually based off of the tree and model beetlejuice kicks over and basically ruins?
The musical follows the movie plotline with a couple of changes until the end of act 1. Beetlejuice is there right from the start and walks us through the entire show as narrator. Act 2 is uncharted territory, with Lydia escaping into the neitherworld (or netherworld as they call it) to try and find her dead mom. it wraps up with the wedding, banishing beetlejuice and jump in the line. basically, it's the movie but not as all over the place. more of a solid plot that makes sense. flushed out, if you will.
Sorry I'm late but beetlejuice isnt just a total asshole/gross either.Throughout it your realllly on his side and he actually gets a good ending as well. Hes still a pervert and thinks a lot about himself but he also has a heart.
does anyone know if Sophia was sick here or if she was purposely doing those “voice cracks” (idk what to call them)? She obviously has an incredible voice, and she usually sings like this but a bit toned down... so when I hear her singing like that and exaggerating the “voice cracks” it makes me wonder if she does them in a healthy way or just for stylistic purposes without actually knowing if it’s hurting her vocal chords. Idk if i’m making sense but someone help
by “a bit toned down” I mean that she usually sings in a rock/punk-ish vibe but sometimes (like in this clip) she exaggerates it a bit more w the cracks
Contrary to popular opinion, I hate how the girls sing dead mom....they are too young to understand vocal health and literally scream the notes...I CANT STAND IT

Friendly reminder that Alex went from a music teacher to Beetlejuice in the span of a year.

Did you know that when bjis sings the whole being dead thing the background is actually based off of the tree and model beetlejuice kicks over and basically ruins?
To me, it sounds like they kept the characters and changed the story. Can any one who has seen the musical help me out? What is it actually like?

All the dislikes are likes from the netherworld 💚💜🖤
Can’t wait!!!
Ok what is that clip of dead mom in the beginning???? Is that a full video cuz i need it desperately
Am I the only one who got really annoyed that the background music (Dead Mom) kept circling back to the same part?
Sophia for the Tony
8th-Grade Studying yup and i’m mad
Can we donate somewhere to make beetlejuice happen again???🙏🙏
Is there a full version of the dead mom performance?
Sophia puts Grace Vanderwaal to shame just saying

@@victoriat7961 i. remeber her posting about being sick around the time so i think so cause when i went she didn't do those voice cracks
I need to meet at least two of these people
If I meet at least one of them I will be satisfied. Too bad that will never happen.
Sophia’s voice cracks in the clips of dead mom. She must have been overworked
no, it's the style of her singing
I think most of it is on purpose
anyone know where i can find that dead mom vid of sophia
Y’all, Sophia was sick here.
Really? How did you know?
Stop using sophia singing clips as a transition we get it she's a better singer than me
Stop releasing 20 second clips of the songs

she posted that she was sick during the time she usually doesn't sing like that
