You outshine all other channels when it comes to doing a review on a product 👍 That's one cool system!! If I were you I would put that beef freezer in your mechanical room so you have all of the important freezers together. Obviously with only one solar charger you can only run it in one place at a time. I'm sure you agree that keeping your frozen food is pretty much a top priority 👍 I'm happy for you that you got it and are able to have that on your homestead

Good choice. I live 100% off the electrical grid. I bought a Bluetti AC300 +2 B300 expansion batteries. I only have 300 watts of solar and have NEVER USED IT. My 3000 watt inverter charges the 2 batteries in less than 2 hours and gives me 6000+ watt hours. I charge about 1once every 3 weeks. My inverter generator runs about 5 hours on a gallon of gas. It takes less than 1 gallon of gas to fuel my electric needs for 1 months. Pretty good but i am building a portable prototype that will provide 5kw continuous and it runs on water. More on that later. Love your channel brother. Keep it up. 🦌👍🇺🇸

I really got impressed!! I was thinking to change my Predator 3500 for something lighter, eco friendly for my detailing business Van.
that's a pretty slick unit. we love our generac system for the house but the ecoflow unit would be great for camping. For the RV I'd want to wire in an automatic transfer switch and charge and supply plugs for the ecoflow, roof top solar panels and probably an expansion battery. That way you could easily use shore power when available and run everything with the ecoflow when power isn't available.

Nice thorough review. Very nice product. Not really practical for a significant duration of power loss but I see where it has a number of good applications.
I just picked up the MAX used on Ebay for $650 what a deal.
I can see this being great for a mobile power source, but I’ll keep my generator that can power my entire house. I had a connector installed linking the main panel to the generator. It will even power my geothermal system.
Greg, I agree. No substitute for being able to feed power into your panel and provide whole house power no matter the weather of night time.

Great review on the EcoFlow Power System. I can definitely see why a company would reach out to you guys to demonstrate the efficiency of their product(s). Being practical and knowledgeable about the product is a big sell in convincing potential buyers to have a second look. We just went through a major power failure and one of those units would have been ideal. The only problem is the cost. The unit you are referring to is over 5k, way out of the reach for the average consumer. I do like the idea of being able to bring it inside, which would be good for apartment dwellers. It would have been nice if you could have given a listing by wattage of the different products. With regards to the weight, that unit is no heavier than a 27 group deep cycle lead acid battery. One of the problems we face in Canada is the high cost, all lithium based products are still very expensive.
I have heard other people saying it was 3800 or higher. The unit without the solar panel should be $1900 to $2200. Still expense.
I really would like to buy one just like that!!

great unit but i feel more the house than out and about looks sensitive and probabley wont put up with knocking about like a generater and fixable if the inevatable happens but defo looks like it has alot of convnience quiet easy to charge

You got my undivided attention when you mentioned the 5000W surge that the Delta Max can handle.
Will they stay fully charged if I stored them until I needed them?
trick now is to use solar to charge the station & the station to charge all your portable hand tools or lights or phones, "Free" juice. @ 2.5k$ the system could catch up at some point. Nice stuff but, the cost/ benefit only works for dedicated vloggers with good content. The other is the annual review & use/benefit found of ownership. TFS bol with the seasons haying.
I've seen these and they are nice, but to tell you the truth with so much roof space on your barns I'm surprised you haven't researched solar power for your outbuilds as well as maybe your house.

I know it says paid promotion. But I wasn't paid with money. They provided the power station. I guess the power station was my payment. Which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted some more back up power. The power company is warning of rolling black outs this summer. I wanted to be better prepared.
That was a fair, balanced and thorough demonstration of the battery backup unit, Evan. Very nicely done. Unfortunately, I find it pretty tough to justify that cost vs a gasoline or LP/natural gas generator and a stockpile of fuel. Hopefully as battery technology evolves and costs come down, a solution like the EcoFlow may come into the reach of more folks. Being able to run it without noise and fume concerns is a huge plus.

Do they use lithium ion batteries? If so will they work in the cold? Cold like -10 to -15 F Thinking of fish house in the winter time. A rv furnace doesn’t use that much juice. If I could charge during the day, then use the charge at night to run the furnace. If not been looking at a 100 amp hour lithium ion but then a person has to have an inverter.
So tell us how your Ecoflow is doing now after one year?

The price of those Fancy Box's keep me using Marine Deep cycle Batteries and a basic good quality Inverter for Camping.

There are different versions that have different voltage and different socket
Would it pay you to can your food instead of depending on a freezer.
We have starting canning some meat so we don't have everything in the freezer.
But I did buy 400 watts of solar to add to it. It is good knowing I can keep a freezer going indefinitely if needed.
