I just want to go ahead and shout out the GFS. It showed this storm more than 16 days ago and tried to warn us. It got mostly everything correct. That's why you should never doubt the GFS.

If that high pressure over texas atea moves gaster to the east me any meteorologist r saying it will pull this hurricsne right up to the texas boarder by Louisiana area n cone in in that area. Stay aware hurricanes like to go north. If that high pressure moves it can be dangerous
Thanks for the update, Mark. Since Beryl skirted the southern boundary of the east Hebert Box, waiting to see if it passes thru the west box. If so, the Florida panhandle will be in play for landfall.
East Box is around Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. West is around the Cayman Islands. The storms have to be at least a Cat 3 to be a Florida threat.

Hello Mark and friends I hope your all ready for a funny story. Last night I was in my bed being an old lady like myself. I was trying to get my beauty sleep. Suddenly I hear something that sounded like an explosion. I jumped and sat up in my bed and yelled out ( What the heck is that) I looked at my clock it was 3::46 A.M. Just in case I slept with my flashlight. LoL I looked out my window the sky lit up like a Christmas tree. Then I realized it was a thunderstorm. The thunder and lightning was very loud enough to where I could feel it in my chest. My son jumped out of his bed yelling to me mom we got a storm. I said no kidding. We did lose power for only a few minutes and then it came back on. I'm laughing about this now. But at 3:52 in the morning I thought I should write out my will and testament. LoL Im a little traumatized. I used to live in Miami and learned a valuable lesson from hurricane Andrew way back when. Love you all thanks for allowing me to share this crazy story. Stay prayed up And get prepped up friends. God bless you all and your families. Mark thank you for the heads up. 👍

Thank you Mark you're doing a job, bad news Mark. The Northeast is under a Enhanced risk of severe weather. The storm prediction center has upgraded. Very strong winds with these storms. A severe thunderstorm watch for Entire Northeast. Not good.
See I was right my lawd have mercy beryl major category 4 I hope Barbados and the Virgin Islands are prepared for this. 2024 storms are out of this world. But then again Florida my southern family out there including me. Also the Mid-Atlantic got a big severe weather threat today too

The current high over TX will move away/ weaken in the next 3-5days. This can easily turn northward then.

New Orleans here,outlook for this season looks scary,eventually north gulf coast will get something,Beryl to Houston
New Orleans has a possible hurricane predicted by the Old farmer's almanac back in November around this time. This could be it.
Other than Beryl being the earliest major now. Dennis was in July of 2005, not the other storm in 1899 in early August.
