I just read Sandman 2.4 “Men of Good Fortune” and googled their names to find out if that comic inspired her idea… found this and was shocked to see no mention of the similarities. Cool conversation!

If you know the story of her and Neil, this is like that scene from "Rockstar" when the fan gets picked to front his favourite band. Neil inspired her to write and now they are more or less peers in the industry.
