The way you stand or position your body, either allows free air passage or restricts it. When you stand we, you create space within your body for correct air distribution... This translates into how you sound cos what we hear as you voice, is actually air...
Good question... When standing to sing, place both feet about shoulder width apart (one can be slightly in front of the other for balance if necessary). Now the upper body should feel relaxed but aligned. One technique is to imagine there is a string coming out of the top of the back of your head, and someone is pulling just enough to keep you straight. Another technique is to put your arms above your head as if to stretch, then bring them down but leave your body in the same place as the stretch position. Basically, keep your head up and level, shoulders broad and chest slightly up...
❤ Insightful, pedagogical and plain Solomonic

What is the relationship between my standing posture and my vocal production sir?
