Hi Matt & Andy, what a lovely grand old building, it looks like they have added bits on and taken other bits away, like some of the doors and windows and added the lifts, it still retains a lot of the old character renowned with asylums from that time period though which is nice. Thank you for sharing, much love to you both. xx 🙏💖

I can't believe people are calling that bullying. Do they not understand how friendship works? lol Me and my best friend of 11 years talk to each other exactly that same way. Half the time people think we are sisters because of how much we fight (playfully). 😂
Me and my cousin Angela used to talk like this all the time, people used to think that we were either bullying each other or falling out, but it was just banter we loved each other really, sadly she passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack aged 34
Me and my best friend of over 30 years call each other a lot worse, probably her calling me more than the other way round cos I do do a lot of dumb stuff, but is all in jest. Andy and Matt have the same relationship as I have with my friend
You aren't bullies its just harmless banter and joking with each other. You see you have been friends for a while and you know each others limitations as to what you can say to each other. You know each others traits and feelings so what you both say to each other is not offensive its just that people think it is ... I think its funny and if it was said in malice then there wouldn't be a channel and you wouldn't explore together. I love watching you so I don't have to go and do it as I can't lol. I cant wait to watch another video of you both as you make me laugh ... Keep up the great entertainment and good work ...

That switch in the cashier room looks like an alarm cancel button. With a key switch in middle to allow you to cancel it. Looks similar to the old pin grenade system we had when I worked in secure units, if a client was kicking off you pulled your “grenade” off your keys and dropped it so it activated the alarm in that room if you couldn’t reach the alarm button on the wall so the other staff knew to come running to help you.
The ladder is raised up when the workers are up there because some of the residents are still physically able to climb the ladder so to stop them they put in the pull ladder
I was a CNA in a nursing & rehab center, those that are living in those places, some of them are quite fast and physically capable of doing the things that you and I would think impossible for them to do but I have witnessed to them doing the unbelievable in they’re physical and mental capacity
Most asylums in the early 90’s had funding to be revamped and a lot of them just ripped all the old stuff out, only to be all shut down 5 yrs later! I worked at stallington grange asylum in Staffordshire in 1994 as they were closing it slowly and putting all the residents into smaller bungalows
The windows at 33:37, could it originally have been a clock? Maybe it stopped working so they just put a window where it used to be. Although no sign of any of the workings remaining.
40:50 that is a room to put those that have been diagnosed with a spreadable illness yes even down to the bed can’t have nothing in it that a germ can attach itself to
Andy you can get man sized tennapads just for dribbles, they aren’t a full size nappie so it won’t help with your follow thrus but they will mop up the constant dripping tap of yours 😂😉
The blue things that bend were in a box with spare parts, and wit__ alarms on it, so my thought would be that the alarm you found was on the bed and alerted when a patient got out.
