CMD commands that has been used:
ipconfig
ping (default gateway) -t
netsh wlan show settings
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wi-Fi"

Bro you made my wireless wifi gone now great im now crying because of this
happened to me too. Go to “device manager” uninstall your network adapter. Click “action” and then click “scan for hardware changes”. You should be able to connect to WiFi again

netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="WLAN" easy. Either your wifi is called WLAN or Wi-Fi so put it into the ""
whe i put netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wi-Fi" in it says you do not have sufficient privilege's or group policy has been applied EDIT: if it says the same thing for you run it as administrator then do what he did

QUICK TIP!!
paste netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="WiFi" in a text document and save it as .bat and name it Ping Fix for example..
then do the same but with netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="WiFi" saved as wifi fix.bat or whatever
so you dont have to do it manually every single time you restart your computer
dont forget to run them as administrator

why do i want to (netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="WiFi")? wouldn't it increase my ping spikes again?
@@danielchin7310 yes it would, but it's so it reconects you to the internet once you turn on your PC again

@@saumitrapriyanshu6801 id say you should because every time you shut down your pc, it won't find any wifi networks until you put it to "yes"
Alright this really works for reducing ping spikes in online games but this setting is also the cause of sometimes my laptop not being able to detect any kind of wifi signal whatsoever. to countereffect this just go into settings, network & internet, at the very bottom you will find a button that says 'network reset' just reset and restart and it starts to work again but you will have to write the same command in command prompt when you want to play again. Happens every so often.
I have the same problem when I restart my pc but ifI turn off and turn it on again I still have wifi but don't show other wifi
u can make batch/.bat file for on/off the script..
You also alternatively could enter the same command but replace "no" with "yes" and should do the job
The way I personally fix it is I remove the network adapter driver, restart, reconnect to Wi-Fi and then type in the commands again. Even though I cannot find other wi-fi networks, my computer will usually stay connected automatically to my own wi-fi network anyway. So thankfully I don't need to do this every single time I get on my PC

Right click on windows start press run then TYPE cmd press enter.
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi"

After do this:57ms
Guys just saying after u guys do this and restart there is a chance that your pc wont dectect any wifi networks, u can undo running the cmd in admin and typing
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi"
after that my wifi cant find any wifi networks i had to do it back with this one:
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi"

This tutorial made my pc unusable, I cant connect to any wifi networks. Nothing is showing up. Really fixed my ping spikes down to 0 ms, I cant connect to anything.
Becareful entering the last step, it hides other networks.
If you want to revert the changes:
netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi"

for me sometimes it gets broken and it says "No networks found" network reset your pc and do netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wi-Fi"again with cmd promt ran on admin.

Windows checks for new networks every whatever seconds. This shuts that off and man does it need to be a toggle button in settings. "I'm talking to you Microsoft..." can't have nothin nice

It did not fix mine though. Still having ping spikes while playing a game. From 20 ms to 100 plus in a second.

@@lordalex8664 yes, I just called my ISP and they refreshed my connection, I rebooted my router and the spike is no more. I have 300 Mbps symmetrical fiber connection, when it was spiking, the download speed is way below than the upload speed, from then on I always do speedtest and I will know if there will be ping spikes again

@@lordalex8664 I contacted my ISP to have my connection checked and refreshed. I also hardwired my laptop. It still spikes but not as much as annoying like before.
Gotta set a valid mtu size, for me it was 1200. I found that setting it lower then 1472 fixed it for me. Default value is 1500 but should not be left at 1500 since it messes up network speed. 1200 gave me consistent ping / consistent upload & download speed.
I was only getting 16 up & 180 down
I’m not getting 300+ down & 70-90 up.
Also make sure you tweak your adapter settings & turn off any power saving / offload / Magic packet setting.
ontop of those settings make sure you set your tranismit buffers to max.
interrupt moderation should be on aswell
This method used to work for like 4-5 months for me but for some reasons my ping is not stable again

Just copy yours, when you did the "netsh wlan show settings" cmd, there will be a text "auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wi-fi" " thing. The "wi-fi" on yours might be "Wi-fi 4" or smt, so copy yours

Guys this evil being kinda made yall run a command that disables your fucking internet signal so you will have to factory reset to fix but I got yall just run this netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi"

This will basically stop your PC to look for any new wifi connections…you are locked to the one that you have …if you don’t want that just type yes in place of no of that command…it didn’t help ….wiring up is the only option

Ok so you need to netsh wlan show settings and then look for Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wi-fi". So sometimes it won't say "Wi-fi" (mine said "Wi-fi 2") but whatever it says you need to type in for netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="(whatever it says like "Wi-fi" or "Wi-fi 2")"
