Vito was in the top 4 in my book and beating Fix was an obvious (my book) but beating RBY at his own game got our attention and we (fans) knew he had a chance for gold if he stayed in his new found zone and he did just that! Hats off to you Vito and a loud hand clap to Flo for the work they did to give us a detailed behind the scene view of this incredible journey !
Bravo Flo 👏🏼. Thanks for sharing this gem. What an incredible film. Seeing Mike Gray and Yianni watch the matches together is pure gold. That Cornell coaching staff is so underrated but just keep creating champions. #GoBigRed #TeamUSA #FloWrestling #WorldChampion 🙏🏼
Hayden you are the type of man our youth needs as a mentor. Watching you progress from HS to now has been inspiring. The mindset you possess through success and adversity is what leaders are made of. Your dad did an outstanding job and I'm sure he's tremendously proud. Keep it up buddy!
You wrestle your whole life and you finally reach the level where when you come off the mat and you have kids that are screaming your name and want your autograph! Tell me that isn’t every young kids dream as they try and climb that mountain! You can see in Vito’s face the enjoyment he is getting when people are asking for pictures with him!
Beautiful story, him beating fix (and being an Oklahoma wrestler) huge, also then going on the beat Rby. Kid has so much to offer and I know like his father will give back to the community. We count wins and losses and what-nots and what could’ve’s as a metrics to this sport but Vito has accomplished so much and more important has a legacy in his family that is completely different than most. All the Bravos and onto the next VITO!
These young men are great ambassadors for wrestling. Hope they continue after high school with the same passion and success. It does raise the question though, are these high schoolers and collegiate athletes closer physically and technically with the gap closing or has overall wrestling among lightweights taken a step back? But then again I remember David Taylor and Logan Steiber in high school and they could go the distance with college wrestlers, but high schoolers just never thought to wrestle at the senior level.
Hopefully him and Yianni both move up a weight next Olympic cycle plenty of time to bulk up (and they say technical competition goes down as weight goes up both guys are technicians)
14:14 doesn’t help that he was hindering himself for cutting to 125 for whatever reason (I feel like he could’ve/should’ve been a 4x timer) but I’m glad bros finally finding his success.
These guys are great however, both have voices similar to those you hear from horse jockeys. That comes from extreme nutritional deficiencies. I don’t like that about this sport.
Vito = Legend
Vito’s dad = Legendary
Vitos dad gave the finger to America on natty TV during the natty finals. How classy.
@@natestakely1478 What is this? What do you mean ... sorry, I am an Aussie.

Love Vito's wrestling and love how much he emphasizes the mental aspect of the game through this film. It's so important as a competitor.
Dude is funny, entertaining, driven and one of a kind.
For all the hate Flo gets, this was amazing! Love Vito, hope he continues to blow our minds over the next decade

When he beat RBY in the NCAA finals, one of the most impressive wins I've ever seen !!!

LOVE Vito. It’s a travesty there aren’t more Olympic weights.
If the sport was more popular and better represented around the world, there would be more weights.
Boo hoo he lost
He just isn’t good enough to beat anybody at the weight classes we have now don’t make up excuses for him.
@@peterparker2651bro what, he could not wrestle cause the cut was to much for his body
From March 2023 - The World Championships, Vito was the best Wrestler in the World, PERIOD! He was on a whole different level!
What a fantastic doc! Out of the shadows Vito and flying in the sun.

54:54 Nick Lee was like got you!
I think he should try using DMSO on his ear.
It helps with swelling, pain, etc.
It's all natural.
What do you think about those magnetic things you put on the ears?
I heard they’re very good when combined with ear guards
DeSanto tapping out to Dayton Fix looked hilarious

Awesome
Yianni using a foot scratcher to grate cheese is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard
You can’t hate the kid ❤️🔥💯
if only he were healthy for trials
Yanni seems like an amazing friend.
Vito had to beat the refs and the Russian to win the Worlds, very hard to do.
Dude has been wrestling since he left his mother's womb... those ears say it all!
I have to admit I did enjoy watching Vito lace Desanto like that. 🤭
Looked like Vito was wrestling a novice.
You can tell Vito’s dad has an iron mentality.
Nothing but God can break a man like that.
I expected him to have a rough voice ngl
Those ears are crazy
Is he in olympic this time..??
Does anyone else think vitos dad and max Holloway kinda talk the same
Vito`s Dad from Azerbaijan

37:38 let’s go take these clothes off..!! That’s a lil sus coach but I love this movie
As his DAD said GENETICS 🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿
Please wear your ear guards cauliflower ears are so damn ugly bro.. forget about wanting to look like a bad ass you got that just be you
The most idiotic match since I watched the Natty live in Md in 79.
How annoying if a wrestling fan are you

What a peach, love his character!
It was great to see the "American" dart board in the Greatest House of Pain.
Are you going to get into MMA or stick with wrestling.
No because there is no 61 kg in Olympics he's to small for 65 kg
