Rob mentioned (=praised) you, and I had to come here, and now you have a new subscriber from Denmark.
I've retired and new at woodworking, with a very low budget, and I spend a lot of time watching and learning from good people who put a lot of thought into their woodworking, especially in the winter when it's too cold to work in my tiny shop. By doing so, I've saved a lot of money not buying tools I would like to have but really don't need, and upgrading the ones I do need. And to do that, you have to be selective in finding the best woodworkers/channels you feel you can trust and pay attention!
(Just like in life, right? )
    Thank you for sharing 👍
Wish you and your family all the best in 2022 ❤

Just started watching you. I’m pretty new at hand tools, but your friend Rob Cosman has really been great. I was doing power tool woodworking about 3 years ago. I’m maybe one of a few people who started woodworking at my age. I’m 80 years old now and was a software engineer until 2004 when the company went out of business and at 62 I figured that I wouldn’t get another job because of all the kids who have their hair on fire looking for work. So I retired. I’m also a retired USNR Chief Petty Officer Quartermaster, Submarine Qualified. 33 years active and reserve.

    G’day Jeff,
Aussie Vietnam Vet. I started woodworking as a hobby a few years ago. I started with mainly power tools but have recently after binging on Rob’s videos changing to mainly hand tools. This has changed my hobby to my main therapy. I have recently built Rob’s workbench and in the process of organising my shed (shop). I have also bought a Woodriver 51/2, 3/4 dovetail saw and a few other items from Rob. Postage to Australia is a bit slow and expensive but worth it. I love your presentation style and your shop

That is old school trick that I learn in my trade school (woodworking/woodturning) and once again love the shop , specially your turning area.... Little inspiration moment, I'm production/pro turner and as you showed hokeypack from The purple heart, it would be great to see the vets to maybe turn from Purple heart wood a hocky pack.... If that would be ok,I would like to turn one and film it on my RUclips channel and that way maybe promote the Purple heart foundation and since I don't have a way to give something, maybe U could inspire a few in my woodturning community.

Ditto to most of the comments - so far about one hundred. You might otta re-think that replying to all of them. When it gets to about a couple hundred thousand remarks your hands are going to give out. Just kidding. Big Cosman fan so now you are also on my list.
