Post commentary is fantastic. It's surprisingly difficult to find a speedrun with any explanation of what's going on outside of a GDQ event. I hope this becomes a more regular thing.
This is a great example of what runners should do, explain what they're doing and why it's generally seen as useful. You earned another sub mate, keep it up!

you do such an excellent job explaining what your'e doing. i have never played skyward sword, so i appreciate that you give enough context about the vanilla gameplay so we can understand why the glitches and skips are significant.
I imagine Demise would be pretty salty. I mean... He has waited an eternity to come back to life, and finally his plan comes to fruition... He is reborn, in his full glory! All his power returned to him! But then he gets completely destroyed, without even getting a single hit off on the hero of time, and in his own dimension at that! He really has the right to be a little angry at this point. XD

I own wwhd, tphd, tp for the wii, skyward sword for the wii (one of my favorites to be honest I love this game. Such a great melding of the stuff in windwaker I like with the skyward sword stuff I like) and breath of the wild wiiu (I can’t afford to buy a new console so I can’t do it with the load times) Do you think I can play skyward sword on my wiiu using English? Eh, as much as I like Breath of the wild, it just doesn't have the same charm that games like wind waker or ocarina of time had. I felt attached to those worlds much more than Breath of the wild, where it just kinda feels like the typical open world skyrim sandbox type thing.
Call me slow if you wish, but i just realized that they could have sent link back to when Demise was first sealed as soon as he got the true master sword. Instead they made him get the Triforce, which seems like it is the safest it has ever been, or ever would have been, and permanently seal away the imprisoned, only to then notice the unbelievable flaw that the enemy is intelligent and use their time portal to go back to when Demise was first sealed away to free him. Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo, but this was some awful writing now that I look it over...
Wow! How can they just provide faster text on the Japanese version? This is partly why I hate SS! Cannot skip cutscenes except for Hero mode, and to speed up dialogue you must hold A. No speed dialogue whatsoever like previous Zeldas and BotW.
mazardeus Most Zelda games have faster Japanese versions. All speedrunners play OoT in Japanese. BotW is interesting because the fastest version is actually German :P Also, Skyward Sword is extremely cutscene and story heavy.

It's actually the standard for adult Links in 3D Zeldas. His voice was similar in Twilight Princess.
