No actual what happend to her old horn was during the time of 2018 when the ITM dealing with noblesville her old horn broke and ITM never go to fix it so 426 has had this one since
My special needs son agrees with you on that completely! He is very disappointed that the Indiana Transportation Museum was evicted from Noblesville and that they planned to build a bicycle 🚲 path over the line he really hates that he says when you pull up a railroad track 🛤 and replace it with a bicycle 🚲 path it is like you don't appreciate the work the gandy dancers put in when they first built the track. They put in a lot of time ⏲️, money 💰🤑, blood 💉🩸, sweat 😓, and tears 😢😭 into railroading and that's the thanks they get?! It's just not right! He feels his position deeply. He is glad that part of the line is being used again but he would like for the entire line to be restored and used again but he does not want that to be wishful thinking he wants it to be a reality!
I remember riding behind this diesel when I was little good times
Great work! Last time I chased on this line was back in 2002 when NKP 587 last operated.
Are there any plans to have 765 visit the Nickel Plate Express in the future?
That’s a Beauty with a Holiday Wreath attached. Love the Nose on the Front of Nickel Plate Road👍
The passenger cars look a lot like the superliners on Amtrak's long distance trains. Great video.
That’s because the design of the Superliners was based on the design of the passenger cars seen in the video.
Yeah. See “Santa Fe Hi-Levels”
Really wish she still had her old horn
4214 has her old horn now, I believe

Where is NKP 426 located now
Cool video of the Nickel Plate Express.
Sad to see this place like this. A shell of its former self
