I know exactly what you mean about “Enjoying the Little Things”. My daughter (an only child) will be leaving in a few weeks for college.😢 I’m so excited for her but it’s going to be so hard to not have her around. I stopped a career in teaching to,be a stay at home mom when she was born. It has been the very, very best job I’ve ever had the honor of having. But my husband and I keep reminding ourselves that this is what we’ve been working toward. It’s time to let her go out and experience life on her own - and she’s ready. It will be exciting to see her develop and create a life of her own. And we will still be right by her side! And when I look back over the past 18 years it’s the little things I relish and remember. How she said cute little phrases, danced in her first recital at age 3 or woke up each morning with the sweetest smile on her face before she actually opened her eyes. She still smiles like this when I wake her up to this day. Yes, it’s the little things I cherish. 💕. - Linda

That pig board is a carving board, which is why it has that well for catching juices, but you could probably use it as a charcuterie board.

So I am pretty sure that a lot of your other subscribers know this, but just in case I will share. I have a degree in textiles and design.
As for the faux fur blankets, wash them in warm water with regular laundry detergent, never, and I mean never put them in the dryer put them over the back of a chair or several chairs to air dry. I also recommend this for the fleece throws that we all have in our living rooms. The reason why it is important to do it. This way is because those are made of primarily plastic. When you put them in the dryer, the plastic melts and the fur becomes very yucky, matted and balls up. The same is true for the fleece blankets in some cases. Some places do not ball up in those are the ones that have more of the silky feel to them. Those you can put in the dryer.

What an awesome haul, Kelly! I wish you sold things in your shop online all the time for those of us who don't live near you. That little rocking horse on the bottom shelf would be awesome to have!! I've been looking for one like that for forever!!
Saw a few things I would have gotten😢 there was a yellow looked like tin basket, flatter would have looked great on the door with some fall foliage. Also do ever go in the dish section? Ironstone is very popular, butter pats, pitchers etc.

Also, the chair with the pail in it, if it was redone to look kindof like an outhouse would be cute. Just put some bathroom accessories in it afterward, it would be great in a bathroom.

You can wash those faux fur throws. Just don't throw them in the dryer. Brush them out with a clean pet brush after it's dry.
Also, I think that red chicken was at the last vendor fair you went to! I screen shot it so I can sculpt something similar, so that is why I remember it.
Why is radon so wanted. I am not at all impressed with it

Kelly you can wash them in cold, BUT DONT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER, THAT IS WHERE PEOPLE MESS UP HANG THEM IN THE SHOWER, I HAVE A FAUX LONG WHITE COAT THAT I HAVE WASHED SEVERAL TIMES AND IT STILL LOOKS LIKE WHEN I BOUGHT IT.
