El Professor 💙 one of the greatest teacher i ever had in my life !! he cud have sold these on Udemy for hundreds of dollars but instead he choses to help everyone new to this worldwide so that they could master the Materials quickly by going through the path he walked rather than making mistakes and wasting time and energy ! Ben Cloward will be remembered this forever 💙
I wonder why Unity URP doesn't support this (at least currently), since these lighting models aren't too intensive. You can make them yourself with shaderlab or opengl without much hassle, and they aren't too bad for mobile either. A custom game engine can render sponza at 300fps with fabric models on mid tier components, so it is a bit of a bummer for URP users
Ben, sorry for asking a random question in this videos. But I've been trying to recreate the plush visual from the "Party animal" game. I got some nice results, but can't figure out a way to get that hairy edges
It looks to me like Party Animals uses shell based fur. So that's the technique you'll want to look up, though I don't think there's much info on that for Unreal Engine.
Hey I followed your tutorial and whn I change to cloth it turn white like yours but whn I’m fished doin everything u did the color never comes in like yours help please

THIS. Thank you so much for doing this. Would be happy to see more like this from Unreal
Thanks for the great tutorials! I guess you may be planning this already, but could you cover hair and eye materials too?
Wow, thanks! Yes planning to do hair and eyes coming up soon.
@@BenCloward this would be great!! need this lol
Thank you so much, very simple to me to understand the different between cloth and Lit Material
Thanks again Professor!
I didn't start till now, but thanks of you it will be smoother 😊👍👍
soooo cool!!! very useful video, please give us more !!!!!
Excellent as always! Thank you so much!
and have great weekend too!
Soooo good! Thanks for sharing :)
What is the name of the displayed engineering file? 6:00
Thanks, grate tutorial
Can you make a video about making auto scaling materials to prevent stretchiness while making roads using landscape spline system.

why didn't you go over how to make silk in unreal with the cloth shader?
how can we create or experiment with this kind of shading model ? is there a way to create custom model? Thanks
I guess you can with Strata materials in UE 5.1+
Sets the clothiness
Can't use with lumen?
thanks!
I love you
