@@SeasonofWar I hope you keep it forever. In fact, I hope GW erratas the warscroll to make it official. Maybe someday he will find a partner who knows that beauty is only skin deep.
Have you guys looked into the FAQ question about this battle plan that it states you can’t gain control of multiple objectives in the same turn? Not sure it’s would have made a difference but I would think then if you can’t score in Round one, and 1 per turn, think the earliest you could win is turn 4
He gained control of his home objective on my turn, gained control of the middle one on his turn, then gained the final objective on his double. He didn't gain control of more than one objective in a single turn.
I want to eventually start a Chaos faction collection. I have boiled it down to THESE TWO FACTIONS! Argh! Who do I cheer for? Blood for the Blood God! But Papa Nurgle, grant me your blessing! I will applaud the victories of both factions today, and equally support the valor of the defeated. Good luck, gentlemen.
Sloppity Bilepiper plays "My Love is like a Ripe Ripe Fart." "Oh yes, my favorite song." XD Delivery of this line was perfect. Also, Khorne is my fave chaos god but that Great Unclean One totally stole the show.
Intense axe damage xD congrats to khorne The battleplan can get silly pretty quickly. I had one particular bad experience were I lost on this due to the enemy just teleporting on my obj in the back and win the game with that move. XD This can get pretty unbalanced and prio roll depending imho. When the enemy can shoot or spellcast ur home defenders away and then just run teleport or summon onto your home obj, there is not a lot you can do. Not a good battleplan design for my taste.
love the video and love to see maggotkin of nurgle. i hope to see them again soon. omg i just saw the end and now im so sad that's how it ended also @Ryan Cooper you did a great job with the nurgles and i hope to see you again soon :D
@SeasonofWar As a new AoS & MoN player I am trying to figure out your Contagion point acquisition Turn 1/2 etc. If I am understanding the rules & the FAQ, Turn 1 you have MoN units solely in your deployment zone for 4 CP and 2 trees =6 CP, where is the 7th point from? Then in round 2 how do u generate 9 more CP's?? Unless I am missing another tree in the terrain?? Thx for any clarification LOVE your batreps!!
What is the configuration of the list that allows you to have 2 chosen prayers on Bloodthirster, Ritualist and both Slaughter priests ? I can see the Warlord battalions would allow 2 extra prayers but where do the last 2 come from ?
I'd be on board with that, or at least is done at the start of the hero phase, so can't be done the turn an invocation is summoned and would happen after it activates in the owner's turn.
As a Maggotkin of Nurgle player I have to ask: Why choose that Battle Tactic on turn 1? It's basically impossible to summon a GUO on turn one. I think the most you can is a Beast of Nurgle. Please enlighten me! PS: LOOOVE the paintscheme on nurgle.. and THAT guo model? Siiick!
Iv run him many times, he is a challenge because he is 10 wounds which means he competes with a monster in the list for keeping drops low. I also find that his buffs rarely justify his cost. They are strong, don’t get me wrong, but having two more beasts in the army is generally better than having him in my experience.
@@ryancooper3629 for example if you get a match like lumineth, slaanesh with army wide -1 to hit beasts hitting on a 5+ not good. I agree it's a preference but yeah nice to see Nurgle on the table
@@TiagoCosta-xl1hg It can be a problem but I find most of the damage for beasts end up coming from their impact hits and disease points anyway. But yeah -1 to hit is a problem for nurgle no matter how you slice it but even such, generally speaking those two additional beasts will still result in more damage than the +1 to hit would have given. Horti's aura is great, its just not worth 220pts and he more or less is otherwise useless. He really should have been a wizard or priest or something IMO. (or at least give him a combat profile that is more than just a fart in the breeze)
Lurkers is such a badly written mission. It got bullied out of CanCon earlier in the year due to all the holes in it and how it functions. It better get dropped next GHB or at least rewritten so its playable without a huge chunk of 'wait what how does this work'
Not a fan of this mission. It encourages hyper-defensive play with very little room for strategy. Battletactics usually don't matter either. Its just a grindfest in the middle. Games tend to be very short as well with this mission. No way to come back if someone wins on turn 3.
@@redmillion7089 hahah, fair, the challenge I run into with a full Nurgle Daemon list is there aren't a ton of unit options and IMO with the prevalence of "ward ignore" these days Plaguebearers feel like a liability.
@@ryancooper3629 theres no other way to run a daemon nurgle list imo. i think you ran a list with great potential but charges on that second turn was really tough.
"I think this will be the last time we play this mission on the channel"
Thank goodness haha
"Mountain of lonesome flesh" cracks me up every time. That poor GUO, looking for love in all the wrong places.
I even spelled it "Loathe-some" in the script to try to subtly point it out - but nope, didn't matter lol XD

This has always been a brutal mission because theres just no terrain to slow the game down with.

Didn't Taylor Swift do a cover of that song a few years back? 😁
Nice to see the new Khorne boys in action. Great vid.
i hate this mission...by the way good job, your report are really entertaining
Great looking Nurgle army, really like that scheme!

Intense axe damage xD

Love the narration commentary again😂
I'm a bit confused how you say you have invocations when they're not point costed into the list.
Just forgot to put it in the popup, if you add everything together in the popup it only comes to 1800.
@@ryancooper3629 Cool, thanks for clarifying. Fun match and happy to see Khorne.
This would have been a good match-up with literally any other battle plan!
where is the guo model from? it looks so good!
It is Creature Caster's King of Ruin

Did the GUO have a bell? If so it can generate D3 extra contagion points in the hero phase

if u use a warlord enhancement u can choose 1 extraprayer for every Priest in your army. Same if u chosse spells
Where did you get those bases for the Blades of Khorne minis, they look really nice.
Beginner here, can I just ask one question - how would it have been possible to summon GUO with only 7 contagion points?
He couldn't, that's the point. There was no doable ones so choose one you are not going to miss.
If wizards can get rid of invocations, it has to A) Eat up a spellcast and B) only be allowable in your own turn.
I'd be on board with that, or at least is done at the start of the hero phase, so can't be done the turn an invocation is summoned and would happen after it activates in the owner's turn.
@@SeasonofWar the problem with doing it in the opponents turn is even Priests can't do that haha.

Cause he couldnt achieve ine anyways
Playing beasts list without horticulous makes no sense to me, for the extra CP which is important, +1 to hit and rerroll charges

With the prevalence of Khorne I think it may be time to change up the sound for a prayer. 30 seconds of "aaaaaa uhhh ahhhh" can be erm interesting
haha - I'm open to suggestions!
Yeah this mission for content can sometimes be a dud.
Probably my least favourite scenario. A well time tunnel master and you win
