Wow! This is my first reaction to a Mac song that I've heard where you really understand and break down the lyrics so well. I feel like you really hit the nail on the head with this song so I have to go check out more of your channel. Song entitled" Sometimes its snows in April" live on the CD 2001 ONE NITE just listen to this short more personal version of this song by him. I believe this was played at his funeral. So sad but these 2 icons shared their personal journeys with all of us. Just listen
“All the things I’d do... to spend a little time with her” I was dating a girl. We’d been on and off for like 3 years but we loved each other. I moved to Texas December 2017, so I had to break up with her. But in May of 2018 I moved out of home and went back to Florida. We got together again. It was smooth. But after about 10 months, I didn’t see us going anywhere so I decided to come back to Texas. It was hard. She was heartbroken, and I was too. But we said we could make it work. She’d come visit me and we could spend time together. About 3 weeks after being here, she snapped me a picture of some guy. It was evident we were over, that she had found someone else. It hurt like a bitch. This was back in February, it’s now October . And although I’m over her. And I wish for her to be happy. I just wish I could go back to when we were together. Thank you if you made it all this way haha

I dated a girl for the same amount of time about a year ago and we were literally perfect all throughout college and then she broke it off out of nowhere soon as she graduated. Tons of drama ensued over the next months between us. She called me while she was drunk and wanted me to drive an hour away to get with her. This was after ignoring my requests to talk all day and actually sit down and talk about our feelings. The day after she said it was a mistake and that she regretted things and that I needed to learn to only view her as a friend. This song was exactly how I felt for months on end of suicidal ideation. Fast forward to now... I have a great job with a Fortune 500 company makin great money, I’ve been with another girl for almost a year now and she has nothing but love for me everyday and everything w my family and friends are good. Just trust me that your time will come and you will be happier than you could ever imagine. I know the feeling of being content and glad that she is happy but also would give anything to go back to when y’all were together. For me, it was knowing I wasn’t the best version of myself for someone I loved and knowing that maybe if I had my some healthy personal changes in my life that things could be different. Point is that no matter what happens if you keep faith in yourself, god, the universe, or whatever you believe in.. you will find your time in the sun and find peace. Hope things go well for you bud.
