BUT, thanks for their new direction several years ago, I've returned to visiting the short tracks on Saturday nights, following the CARS Tour and BIG late model races, and watching Dale Jr sell out the stands twice this year has been cool. Grass roots racing as they call it. They still have that "drive for diversity" or whatever the hell it is. In my day, either you liked racing or you didn't, but they didn't go "recruiting" either fans or competitors. I'm trying to ignore that part.
My wife and I did 2 days of shop tours about 4 years ago. We used Garage Pass ShopTours and had a great time. Our guide was a former pit crew member and had tons of info. He also knew a few of the garage people.I'd do that again.
