The game definitely had a lot more personality and fluidity to it when they showed this trailer. Now it's a lot more mechanical. It's still good, but clearly a different product than what we have today.
It was very similar to what the trailed shows back in first korean beta's but there's been so much skill changes over the 4 or so years it's crazy how different it is now
+Bheriath That wall jumping is when you're riding Dragon Pulses. Also the actual gameplay has more combos than this trailer, you just gotta find the combinations and the skills "change" function/definition depending on how you upgrade them.
I remember this trailer and then the glitchy alpha-phase Atomix server being released. Coupled with the fact that my laptop at the time had crappy hardware and played most games at 20 - 30 FPS LMFAO. Good times c':
@Carrdude101 The closed beta in korea started in november 2009. It was rumored that the EU/NA will be in Q4 2010 but it didn't took place yet. I hope we will get our hands on it soon though. :) The game will be released for PC and PS3 so far and has a auto targeting system among many other ones.
@Raziel354 sure thing. :) There is another newer video now that introduces the assasin class which is the 5th out of 8 classes that will be available in the final game. :)
@russianwolf1 It's on wiki. And South Korea is getting it in Q4 2011. Which means sometime between October and December of 2011. So America might get it around 2012.
@Raziel354 The force master is a magical class. :) You might be right that the girl with the flowers and feathers at the end is a healer class that its yet to come. Anyway, this trailer is the oldest ever and shows mainly the races, a bit environment and random other stuff. A second trailer were released after this one back then that showed the 6 classes you talked about. There are many infos around on fan sites and the main site aswell too. G*Star videos on youtube shows the systems too. :)

@Niwtheis well sir u got to get your player base first before u bring out the good stuff. Thats why they kind of previewed patch 3.0 for aion so early. O ya if u didnt know 3.0 will be the patch with more stuff for endgame.

when i watch this i see a game thats a mmorpg at heart....but with a fighting style of tekken or something along those lines. I have a feeling this will be the first mmorpg ill be wanting to play with a ps2/3 style controller cause i think the combat will be that kind of "fighting game" style. I dont see this having some sort of hotbar with skills...maybe more of a button combo style thing. They might have the option for a hotbar for pc people but i think the mouse/keyboard might not be best
