@@cynthiabragg2611 no , a little sugar is needed. If you can’t have the sugar then you shouldn’t have the pasta because you know the pasta turns into sugar.
Love this!! Thank you so much for sharing. Been making it for years now. Campbell’s soup used to sell a pasta bake sauce with the recipe on the back of the jar many years ago. It was basically a spaghetti sauce. Sometimes I’ll add leftover sliced grilled chicken or crumbled cooked sausage, or peeled, deveined shrimp. I also may sauté some onion, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, spinach, black olives or whatever else I have lying around in my fridge that needs to get used up. I always add extra spices to mine, that’s just my personal preference. I have also made this with jarred Alfredo sauce and added chicken broth in place of the water. I top mine with mozzarella, sometimes Parmesan. The pasta is always perfectly cooked (al dente)
Looks like a good after school weeknight dinner. Thanks! I agree with you 1000% no need for nasty negativity remarks. Use as is or as a starting place.
