WARNING!!!!
Epileptic seizures up ahead!
Viewer discretion is advised.
>.
That means two people would have a reaction rather than one.
I concur...those flashes are DANGEROUS
BsBL Videos girl in my social studies class had to sit with her head down
I think this won’t help because they would of already has a seizure before reading this
WARNING: Epileptic seizures ahead! ( and Charlemagne's awesomeness)
damn, all joking aside it was a poor choice to use so much flash. wouldn't want to show this in a classroom and actually cause someone to have a seizure.
Conrad well my teacher has already showed it to us. No one had a seizure but my best friend was acting like he had one.
My history teacher showed us this in the dark today. It was not fun.
crowphobia same
mine didn't that to expect it was raining outside also
Same
Emily Barrett same
Same xdd
I showed this to my friend and he loved it so much he's dancing on the floor
Lol
Is he still doing it?
after a year i personally would assume not@@mayonnaiseablaze9745
Nice song take it down 30 notches with the flashing
a aprt 😂😂😂 IKR?
They legit need a seizure warning on this video
I know right
To be fair a warning for epileptics would prolly suffice
@@katielancaster6376 ...?
EPILEPSY, THAT'S HIS NAME!!!
Joel Arreola 😂😂😂
😵😵 Sigh 😝
At least he made it until Roland in Spain.
fr lmao i remember watching this in 7th grade history and the teacher wouldnt let the epileptic kid leave so he had to put his head down while she was yelling at him while this was playing in the background

He can sue them on attempted murder charges. That's a personal attack on a medical condition. They have a right to remove themselves at any time to prevent personal harm. They would definitely be fired and barred from ever working at a place with children and possibly anything with public relations. That sounds easy to win. People around them can sue for having to experience trauma. Despite belief, teachers do not have a right to verbally abuse people. Yelling is an illegal act for teachers. They are not aloud to punish people. I've gotten plenty of teachers fired. I even got an entire school board fired in 6th grade. They are not aloud to play they have a right against what is aloud. It's bullying. I've straight up got some of those teachers to leave crying with honesty. They are not aloud to take your chair away, and they are not aloud to touch you. Even if it's to spit out gum. Even grabbing your arm is physical assault. They can't even follow you out of a scholl, and they're not aloud to go find you skipping school. If you were at a store, they cannot leave the school to go find you there. That's stocking and possibly kidnapping if they attempt to remove you and take you somewhere. Just even if that's school. Lots of things they think they can do, but they know they can't. A teacher really can't do one thing if a student walks out of class. A teacher can't even call the cops in a lot of cases. They have to report it to their superiors, and it goes through many levels before a decision is made to do that. Even then they are limited to what they call for. Writing on a desk is not one of the things that they can call for. To be clear, they only have obligation to teach. That's the entire job, nothing added.
My history teacher broke out into dance in the middle of the song and someone started throwing singles and sang the chorus "Charlemagne! Make it rain!"
My teacher does stuff like that all the time he so adorable
HAHAHAHAHAHA
When our teacher showed us this video he looked really impressed and interested as everyone else stared at each other because this is so cringeworthy....
I remember this in 8th grade history years back. It’s been in my head all day for no reason so here I am LMAO
A certified hood classic
I keep hearing chow mein when she says Charlemagne.
Hahaha I was probably hungry when I was looking at this video.
hearing chew main over and over makes me hungry for chinese food
I hear it
SAME
My ancient history class loved this song so much we watched this video anytime we had extra time. Also the whole song was my teacher's lesson plan. It was dope. I love Cas.
My French teacher used this during the history segment- back in 2010. This song is permanently stuck in my head so I come back here every few months and listen to it again
@@jesterxgirl2434 I respect that lol
My history teacher played this song for our class and they loved it. They kept asking her to play again.
same here, it's so catchy.
Meanwhile my classmates screamed and were freaking out because of the lights
It was Fleas on rats for my class, best song in existence
Awesome song! We're learning about Charlemagne in class right now and our teacher showed us this and we all loved it! We keep begging to hear more of your songs in class. Whenever we hear this the other classes shut their doors because we start screaming "CHARLEMAGNE!!" when you do. (;
I was doing a presentation on Charlemagne and asked my history teacher for help. She emailed me this video. She forgot I had epilepsy.
I listened to this once when I was in 7th grade and to this day I will randomly blast it. I’m glad I found it!!!! It was a conversation piece 4 times.
Teacher assigned me this for homework XD AWESOME
Awesome! Always loved my history classes! History *can* be fun!
It was used in my lessons in Belgium... OH MY EARS!
wow this was amazing i was dancing on the floor for 6 minutes
My class thinks these vids are hilarious so we jam out to them all the time
Gads. I can ever afford it, I will pay someone to take out all the flashing. This might result in one of the great masterpieces of history. I would take that chance.
Just close your eyes
@@Aztlan632 Ha Ha Ha! Heard this so many times, I could!
My new favourite jam
Thank You Ms.Miller for showing me this Gem
I’m looking straight at you Mr. Maxey.

Lol you guys got a notfaction after 7 years for this comment
Unbelievable that this video is already 13 years and one day old and still great 👌🏻
My teacher showed us this in 6th grade and one time when I was completing my notes sophomore year in my honors world history class I was too tired to give a thorough answer so I just linked this video. Now when I see it the flashing hurts my eyes. Wish they would've kept epileptics in mind when they made this
geiler Kommentar!
Completely agree. There is something beautiful about her singing an ode to one of the greatest men that walked this planet. An ode to excellence most needed.
My class were shown this. It's now been burnt in our minds. When its silent, suddenly someone will exclaim "Charlemagne!" and then we begin to sing. It's...yeah
yep, we've gone over this a bunch of times if you follow the comment list way back.
I watched thus at school half the kids in class had a headache from the lights
@badboysRhawt22 Missi Dominici - means "servants/messengers of the lord king"...Charlemagne sent these guys around to supervise /check up on the regional lords of the empire and make sure they were executing his will...a great idea to keep tabs/control on one's regime
strobe lights are always fun
Ahhhhhh the flashing is filling my eyesssssss
Who had to watch this at home during quarantine in 2020 ;-;
the epileptic kid in my class was breakdancing to this
I had to watch this in my 7th grade social studies class.... Haven't laughed so hard in a while 😂 me and my friends would just shout this in the hallways and a lot of people would respond with the other lyrics.
There NEEDS to be a seizure warning! This is education, right? Shouldn't they care about the kids who are receiving the education?
No
they don’t need to do anything
@@randomacc885 They have to. It's just mean not to do so.
@@RockBrentwood hitting on the history teachers I see
Who still watching this bc in 2020 you teacher send tho you when your on lockdown
Thank you ms. Miller
I had to watch this for my social studies class
I have immense sympathy for the eyes of all the students in history classes this was shown to.

My eyes just burnt 😂😂😂
Im blind now.
@rtmorphine I am pretty sure we used History Channel's Dark Ages (2007)- it's awesome!
People all sneering about the flashing or whatever, no ones mentioning what a bop this is
My brother liked this vid so much he was shaking and doing the worm on the ground!
Charlemagne is often pictured as an elderly man during the Roncesvalles event, but actually that was early in his reign, decades before he was crowned emperor.
My social studies teacher showed my class this. It gave the whole class a headache. damn
I was in a my teachers class 3 years ago and I still remember him making us dance to this... thx Mr.Floch
Thanks a lot, Ms. Rockwell.
This song helps me suddenly remember my Charlemagne.
your the COOLEST teacher ever!!!!!!
this really helped me with a test
You’re*
I remember watching this in 7th grade. Brings back memories.

Tim : I'm Tim.
Me : Hey Tim, SHUDDAP!
my whole school loves your videos
teacher showed us this i got epilepsy in class and i had a seizure
Haven’t this since like 6th grade history class.. it was a great time
Danke !!!
@MedievalGal - Yes, the height was taken from a passage from Einhard, Charlemagne's secretary/biographer..."He was 6 ft 4 inches tall, and built to scale. He had beautiful white hair, animated eyes, a powerful nose..." -probably not the same measurements we use now
80s girl rock meets Medieval History! This is the best pop culture treatment of Charlemagne since Pippin. But my favorite way to remember the HRE (Holy Roman Empire) is the following: "It wasn't holy, it wasn't Roman, and it wasn't much of an Empire." The HRE was actually in more-or-less present-day Germany, as the vid points out it was involved in a lot of wars, and compared to empires like Russia, the Mongols, various Chinese Empires, and much later on the British - the HRE was tiny.
My teacher showed us this. I'm glad I don't have epileptic seizures.
Best. Meme. In. My. School.
We watched this in class and i stood up and started singing along while dancing, people told me to make a cover and that they would buy my mixtape 10/10
William the Conqueror's descent from Charlemagne was through William's Breton grandmother, Judith. Charlemagne's "nephew" Roland was Breton too.
Another descendant of Charlemagne's was William's Breton "nephew" (actually, double-second cousin) Alan Rufus who commanded the royal household knights and did such deeds of prowess and gallantry that Geoffrey of Monmouth based a certain legendary king on him.
i'm very thankful that I don't have epilepsy right now.
We watched this in my Social Studies class months ago. people are STILL singing it. It's just catchy!
Yup, if one took out the flashing effects, Mrs.B, this could be your most popular video on the net. I think even Debbie Harry would be impressed. The "flashing" is the only thing about it people do not like about it. Else, it is pure "H" genius. And you sing and dance so .... are there any words sufficient? Nope.
I love these SO MUCH
I LOVE THE SONG BUT OH THE LIGHTS
Nice song for him. He is my 41st great grandfather.
My history teacher showed us this on Tuesday, and these two boys starting singing along and the teacher was cracking up
Oh my, how thou art dangerously beautiful. Seriously, woman - totally mezmerized here. That dancing is so cool! And those eyes, those killer eyes, all coming from Blondie to this crazy awesome rhytm and ahh, this is so hypnotic. True artists, you are.
this video GAVE me epilepse
I was at an a capella show the other day and they sang "Call Me" and I kept singing the Charlemange lyrics in my head.
when we watched this in class, the professor turned off all the lights, and then left. it was like the most fabulous flashbang in history
Why did I watch this at night
When my teacher showed us this we all went blind for a while. Very creative though I love these videos.
This is absolutely fantastic. I just finished Vol. I of John Julius Norwich's "Byzantium." Now I have a soundtrack for my reading.
the best mf video i have ever had a seizure to
Some kid in my class had a fucking seizure from this
The lyrics are the slaps, but the lights slap me in the face
Awesome as always!! HA HA HA
I had this in school for history :)
i watched this in social studies!! i love it!
Quarantine 2020 April 22 baby
I could see this video playing from across the classroom with lights on. The power of flashes
I actually love these...thanks Mr. White!
Using this to study for my APWH test tomorrow !!
I couldn't watch the video due to the fact it was probably gonna give me a flipping seizure, but I still listened to it. :D
a few of my friends and i had to teach a lesson to our history class about Charlemagne and now everybody remembers him as "The Burger King Guy".
