    Waiting for 3.0 hurricane in Grand Cherokee

    I was planning on finally retiring my 2007 Hemi Grand Cherokee and ordering a 2024 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 2 row. But since Jeep executives don’t seem to have the brain power to give the customer what they want and offer the 3.0L TT Hurricane six in the Grand Cherokee, I will unfortunately be taking my money elsewhere and purchasing a vehicle from a competitor that offers more than one engine option in the lineup. I have no desire for a weak Penastar V6 in a Grand Cherokee. Good luck to Jeep!

    Stellantis (at least the CDJR part) is failing. IMO. I'm sad to say this as a 5X Challenger owner. 2012-2023.
    In my household we currently have a 2023 Hellcat WB Jailbreak, a 2019 Ram 1500, and a 2021 Grand Cherokee L. So I'm obviously invested. However, I see nothing but doom for CDJR moving forward and I'm pissed off. Thanks Stellantis!! 😡
    Thanks Marspeed!! Great vid as always.

      Nice to hear your thoughts! I also agree, I love CDJR and own of their 3 vehicles and it’s hard to see the positives going forward. They are blindly going against what their customers want and not sure if people will want those future products.

    Stellantis has lost its mind with Jeep pricing!!! Then they will wonder why people aren't buying??! Great video. 👍🙂

    If you would’ve told me back in the day when Chrysler bought American motors that in 2023 they would be selling jeeps for $120,000+ I would’ve asked what type of drugs are you taking?

    For 2024 chrysler will have one vehicle in their lineup is the pacifica. Chrysler had discontinued alot of their vehicles in their lineup over the years like the Concorde, LHS, 300m, Sebring, Aspen, Crossfire, 200 & now the 300.

    I believe you, Jeep sold very well for decades now

    I wish they still make the Cherokee that sits between the Compass and the Grand Cherokee tbh, also revive the Commache as a Pick-up truck of the Cherokee/Compass and a Grand Commache as a Pick-up variant of the Grand Cherokee, also love some other Jeep vehicles tbh, Jeep has more options then both Dodge and Chrylser have tbh, so yeah

    If they were smart they'd bring back the eagle line of car based all wheel drive cars. For better mpg while still having great traction.

    Very disappointed in the CDJR lineup this year. Feels like they are resting on their laurels. Where’s the Gladiator 4Xe? Why discontinue the diesel in the Gladiator? Why don't they offer the 4Xe in the Cherokee L? When will the Trackhawk return? Where is the innovation? And the pricing??? I see challenges in their future as other brands pull ahead.

    Almost $100,000 for a Wrangler? What are the odds that would ever happen? Yet, it has happened. I'm surprised and impressed.

    Just curious on why they have the most expensive vehicles on display instead of mid range ones? Not everyone has that kind of money!

    • @MarspeedCars
      @MarspeedCars  Год назад +2

      Just traditional marketing tactic, they want to show off the best features, seats, etc. to entice you and show you what you could potentially buy and get you into dealerships. Then once you’re interested or considering them, you either have the money for that high end model or have to settle for less, and they have your money both ways 😅 Makes sense though, you don’t show off your worst products at a company. I agree they are way too expensive though

    The Wrangler remains the only true off-roader.. The small jeeps are just cars in drag. So sad that all of Jeep brand is in the same trouble as Dodge and Chrysler. It will be tough to watch these brands die in the next 5 or so years.
