minor works great, melodic minor over this would sound very nice, even relative major, bebop, chromatic, they all fit, its about where the notes go. try outlining the chord tones in enclosures
New to this, but thinking (probably wrong way to approach music lol feeling is better) could you use the back end of minor 2 5 1 lines . Because the chords change quickly for me (as a beginner) struggling to not bleed then c minor pentatonic into the dominant chord and vice versa . Thanks 🙏😊

harmonic minor all the way, also you can accentuate the chord notes and add chromaticisms
