The epilogue in this book was EVERYTHING. I was so proud of Fox! Proud of Hannah too of course, but in a very different way for Fox.
I know this book was a bit "flat" if compared with IHOS, but I just fell so strong for Fox and Hannah. They are so sweet together. This was my favorite series by Tessa. She totally nailed it with the Bellinger sisters and their fishermen

I kind of expected more from this book. I think the plot was very predictable and there was nothing "special" which can set apart this book from many other similar books out there.
I'm not saying it's bad but it's not excellent as well. It was a decent read.
I kind of like their chemistry more in the 1st book that this one.
I'm so happy I saw your review of this book before I read the book. I was able to see Fox's struggle with his personal identity. But I did wish the books involved more of Piper and Hannah's mom, because they both fell in love with fisherman, and there mom knows what it's like to live and love a fisherman too, so I wish she was more Involved in there love life so she can give/show those fishermen not to mess with mama bear lol 😂

Nikki I always love coming to your book nook!! I’d totally recommend reading “You’ve Reached Sam“ by Dustin Thao!! It is a sad/bittersweet story but It’s one of my favs and i’d love to hear your thoughts!! 🤩

I think the thing about the slut shaming is less what the characters say about it and more what the author is saying about it. That it was "wrong" for Fox to have so much sex, that having so much sex was a sign of his "damage".
