Hey guys, here is my new original metal song, "Wraiths!" Woohoo! It is one of the most technical songs I have made to date, and by the end of it, my picking hand is a little sore haha. I spent about 20-30 hours recording this; tweaking it so that it's just that little bit better, so you better all enjoy it! Haha. P.s., I uploaded this the night before the two biggest exams in my schooling career... Oh the efforts I go to for you guys! : ) hahah.

This is similar to my other song, "The Isle", and in time, hope to create my own metal EP. I already have started working on another new song, so keep an eye out!
My setup:
Guitar - Schecter Hellraiser C-1
Pedal/Interface - Boss ME-70 (although in this video I didn't use it)
Strings - Ernie Ball 11-54
Tuning - Drop A
I directly recorded into the computer using REAPER for better quality and I also used the plug-in "Amplitube".

@rpatto92 Hey man thanks very much! Yeah it's true, but I am a little short on moolah and a studio here costs quite a bit to record a song :). To all the comments regarding the lead guitar in the first section, when it was turned up in the mix, it sounded too overpowering, and as it's a processed tone, didn't sound very good at all. So yes I did try it! But I guess at least it shows you all have ears :) Thanks all for comments!
I heard this about ten years ago, and constantly watch it. it’s still fuckn amazing. One of the best originals I’ve EVER heard.. picking is so clean, not to mention fret hand. Righteous brother!!!
sounds like a mix of breakdown of sanity and parkway drive with a djenty feel at some points. absolutely awesome!
@Captainfluffcake666 Hey man! This song I wrote over a period of a few months. They were spent just gathering ideas and suffer from writers block ALOT :) so that doesn't help haha. But yeah dude, the main thing is just to keep going and keep trying out different things with riffs.
after i watched this video i was scearching on youtube for the band of this song. then i wrote the description and i thought, omg did he made it????? this should be a famous song around the world mate... keep up

I have no problem with that,
the reason why i don't like it sounding that way is because you really can't play it that way on a real guitar, it sounds that way because it has been cut in a recording software.

I hear "As I lay dying" style, sometimes even Daft Punk guitar style, very much of good riffs and overally hard to play stuffs, its really well done mate!
