Yeah it's hard to believe, not many units last that long in service.

Lovely Scenes from the Good Years Danny!😃.I can't say I saw much of the Loco Hauled Trains on Irish Rail as I only started taking an interest in railways a few years after they were replaced by ICR 22000 Trains.I do have a vage memory of see them at Castlerea and Ballyhaunis but all that was on my mind back then in those years was "Thomas the Tank Engine"😃.

Thanks Alan it’s hard to believe how much has changed. The 90s were wonderful times to be an enthusiast with the variety of traction on the network. Plenty more footage to come 😊

Wonderful film Danny, i don't presume that those stairs up to the train are still used at Thomastown?

Thanks Martin, yeah that gives you an idea of how stuck IÉ were for locos and coaches at the time. Everything and anything could show up!
