Nearing the end of 2022, a year of tremendous crisis and conflict in many regions across the world, including natural disasters, it is perhaps an appropriate time to release this podcast. However, the content is not something upon which the viewer can find an outward authority to provide succour or refuge from the many forms of frustration and discontent that are widespread in almost every culture, whether economic disruption, wars, religious indifference, public health pandemic or flooding, earthquakes, fires and famine. Neither does it give a formula or concepts by which one may cultivate an answer for oneself.
What it does is to question the response to crises in relationships that are bound to happen when daily living gets out of control.
The usual approach of taking a particular stance to a particular problem which is centred around doing some forms of positive action is not countenanced as a panacea to release distress and discomfort. Krishnamurti addressed the totality of human reactions from a radical approach that is unfamiliar to even the most ardent of listeners. What the podcast entails requires in-depth sobered attention and testing out in the reality of negative thinking outcomes.
The question about what happens when the immense energy of discontent, which is immovable, is aligned with the immovable energy emanating from the dynamics of the fact of what Krishnamurti is saying, gives reason for deep attention.
