On the way home from the hospital, after my mom died from a sudden heart attack, I was crying out to God to let me know she made it to heaven. She was depressed after my sister's death, and she'd try to get me to go to church, but I was angry with God. When she died suddenly, I was afraid my anger affected her, and I had to know she was safe in heaven. I cried this out to God, and this song came on the radio. She died on valentines Day, and there was a foot of snow on the ground. She used to love to sit and watch the snowflakes outside the window. I knew God was telling me she was safe in the arms of Jesus.
My mom died recently in her sleep, just 5 days before her 99th birthday. My niece sang this song at the funeral. I had never heard it before but it had a profound effect on me. Ever since then, every time I want to feel close to my mother, I listen to this song. I sing along (poorly), and I cry. I find it very cathartic. I have discovered the truth of its lyrics for my mother, who suffered extreme pain for many years from having no cartilage remaining in her left knee. Her absolute faith has never failed to inspire and comfort me, especially now. This song speaks to her suffering and her faith. I have no doubts that she is in heaven with my dad and they listen to this song together and smile at its message, realizing that for them, the suffering is now past, as they have gone to be with Jesus and each other after 23 years apart. I just turned 64 last Saturday. I have been treated for chronic pain for 25 years now. God has shared this with me in my spirit today all day. I live in GA, USA and the daffodils, roses, and azaleas are already starting to bloom, but I really don't want to send this to my daughter right now because I know that it will upset her right now. It is comforting to me right now.

My mother had heart disease and in 2016 she found out she didn't have much time left here on earth.
She loved roses and had her own little garden,I'm her only son and was her caregiver for the last 10 years of her life.She couldn't wait till spring every year till her flowers bloomed,but the last Christmas we had in 2016 she knew she wouldn't see those roses bloom next spring.
She was right,as January 29,2017 arrived she went to see the Lord and as the song says,she'll be watching flowers bloom in a better garden and a better place.
This was 3 days after my 55th birthday and I miss mom,but I know one day soon I will see her again in that garden in the sky!(Clara Purden 9-1-38--1-29-18)
I lost my mom right after Mother's Day 2001. As she lay dying she opened her eyes for the last time and looking right past me she must have seen something the rest of us didn't see because the smile on her face was so radiant that even the attending nurse stood there stunned. R.I.P. MOM.
My Mom died on my brother's birthday, 5 days before her 51st birthday. I saw that smile also. It was amazing. I had never seen her smile that big.

This is not about my mother only, but about all my siblings except one. We were eight, all but my young sister and I are left. First it was my eldest sister in 2004. Then, in February, 2007, my good Daddy went home at 90. His wife, my mother joined him in August, 2009 at the age of 93. My elder brother Harrison died in September 2011 when he was less than 60. He was followed by my eldest brother in December 15, 2012 at age 62. Janet my good sister followed in January, 2014. 2019 was the turn of Sunday my brother and a nephew - Israel. Then, just in 2020, Esther my immediate elder sister died at 52. The roses are indeed better in heaven. But I must enjoy longevity here on earth. The number is a 120 years with sound health and vitality. This song keep flooding the memories of these guys to me. Heaven is indeed a better place. I pray to walk in the steps of God here on earth and be well prepared for the journey at 120, if Jesus Tarries.

Momma loved this song so much...we listened to it years ago when my Daddy passed away. Now, she's with the Lord...she passed away this past Friday, February 5, 2016. She was with me at home, in her bed, and after hours of extreme suffering, while I held her she took her last breath. I came to this world into her arms, she left this world in mine. As the tears stream down my face, I find comfort in this song, knowing one day we'll be together, never having to part again, and together forever with our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank you for posting this video...more than fond of the Gaithers and their beautiful music ministry. I hope I can purchase this CD soon.

I've known a lot of the great late Dottie Rambo's songs I just happen to run across this great song she wrote! I love this song and I to can't wait to be with Jesus come spring. I know God has a lot of great music stars up in Heaven and I can only imagine how the singing is up there and I'm ready to be with Jesus come spring! My Lord knows I'm ready to rejoin all my love ones already gone up there to be with him. I feel alone without them here but comforted to know come spring I'll be rejoining them where life is forever no more tears, sorrow, pain, no more deaths nor worries only happiness and smiles knowing we r known as we are known here! This country must put God back into it and turn back to him bc he's the one that makes the difference! oh I'm excited and can't wait for them all to come and take me home.
