This is a real thing and really happens. A large percentage of people in hospice see and talk to their deceased loved ones. They are called "deathbed visions or "takeaway visions" because they say that they are there to take them on a trip somewhere. These visions are even more common than near death experiences. The only people who do not have these visions are the ones that are too drugged up to be able to communicate what they are seeing and experiencing. You can google "deathbed visions" and there are many many articles about these experiences that happen to people who are close to death. It is a beautiful thing and what a blessing from God that he allows this to happen.
Six yrs have past since dad left bt tears continue to fall from my eyes each time I remember him.Since childhood daddy was my spiritual n moral guide, he was my teacher n my political guide, my father, my friend. My dear mother, a diehard follower of Christ, passed away 2days ago(02/16/2021). In her final hours when we were all thinking it might happen today or tomorrow, this song came to mind. I sent the full lyrics to all my siblings and forwarded the video to them as well. Everyone was happy I brought this song their way at this difficult time. Instead of sadness and heavy hearts everyone was grateful for the life that mother lived. I and my family are really blessed that we have this heaven-centric melody to comfort us at this time. Lost my brother, when he was just eleven years old, but before he died, he told us that there were angels in the room. They were there to take him with them. My mama was told she had cancer n was in the hospital. She had a test n was tired. So my sister n I left for abit. When we come back, she was up on one elbow, n all excited about this guy that was in her room. She said, "Did you see him? When you walked in, he had to of went past you." She told us, she was in a deep sleep n this guy woke her up. Called her by name. He told her, it wasn't time yet but he would be back for her. My sister n I thought it was the heavy drugs she was on. 2 days later she passed. Later my sister n I believe it was her angel waiting to take to Heaven. Only she saw him, he was coming back for her. N he did. I miss my mama. She was 64

Having lived a large portion of my life as a Hospice Nurse, I can verify that Angels are often in the room when a dear Christian is going home. I have been VERY aware of their presence. This is a beautiful funeral song as it's so true that when we take our last breath here we take our first breath in heaven!

This song is so true and touching. Our family recenty lost our beloved mother in NY on Sept 01/2019. Our mother was a woman of God. When my mother passed away she was in Paliative care already and on life support. When my precious mother was alive she used to watch Bill Gaither group religiously and would sing along standing and praising God. When she was dying I am sure Angels are in the room to carry my mother to heaven. No more sickness no more pain. My mother looks peaceful. After I got the news of my mother passed away from the hospita, I came with my mother's health proxy who really took care of my mother and she happens to be a woman of God too. We all missed mum but I know she is in a better place called Heaven. WOW!! Can't keep the tears away while hearing this lovely song. 2 people, both unsaved saw an angel in the room where my mom lay dying. Both said the angel wrapped it's wings around her and lifted her as she passed on to her heavenly home. Those 2 people have since given their hearts to the Lord. This song tells the story as though it was written for that day.
When my husband was dying in 2009, he saw angels all around the room waiting to take him home. We could not see them, but the expression on his face was so beautiful, happy tears streaming down his cheeks as he tried to tell us of them, there was no doubt. He was saved at age 35, was an alcoholic but never touched a drop after that night. He was SO happy at the thought of going to be with the One who saved him! Much as we miss him, that is such a comfort to us all - and we will see him again when we see OUR Savior. I LOVE this song!

Fought cancer last year, I'm preparing so she won't have to. Still have years to go, so my doctor tells me. But I want to be ready when Jesus tells me it's time to come home.

I was in the hospital room both when my mother and my precious Gift from God that was my wife left to go home. Even with the pain and broken heartedness I felt I knew that this had been what they saw that we could not. If I did not know I would one day see them both again I don't know that I could stand living as I have without them.

Having lived a large portion of my life as a Hospice Nurse, I can verify that Angels are often in the room when a dear Christian is going home. I have been VERY aware of their presence. This is a beautiful funeral song as it's so true that when we take our last breath here we take our first breath in heaven!

This song is so true and touching. Our family recenty lost our beloved mother in NY on Sept 01/2019. Our mother was a woman of God. When my mother passed away she was in Paliative care already and on life support. When my precious mother was alive she used to watch Bill Gaither group religiously and would sing along standing and praising God. When she was dying I am sure Angels are in the room to carry my mother to heaven. No more sickness no more pain. My mother looks peaceful. After I got the news of my mother passed away from the hospita, I came with my mother's health proxy who really took care of my mother and she happens to be a woman of God too. We all missed mum but I know she is in a better place called Heaven. One day we will all will meet our loved ones in heaven and what a glorious day that will be....God bless the three angels who sang the song beautifully. May God bless the whole group of Gaither band. WOW!! Can't keep the tears away while hearing this lovely song. 2 people, both unsaved saw an angel in the room where my mom lay dying. Both said the angel wrapped it's wings around her and lifted her as she passed on to her heavenly home. Those 2 people have since given their hearts to the Lord. When my husband was dying in 2009, he saw angels all around the room waiting to take him home. We could not see them, but the expression on his face was so beautiful, happy tears streaming down his cheeks as he tried to tell us of them, there was no doubt. He was saved at age 35, was an alcoholic but never touched a drop after that night. He was SO happy at the thought of going to be with the One who saved him! Much as we miss him, that is such a comfort to us all - and we will see him again when we see OUR Savior. I LOVE this song!

Powerful how greater it is to believe in God
I was in the hospital room both when my mother and my precious Gift from God that was my wife left to go home. Even with the pain and broken heartedness I felt I knew that this had been what they saw that we could not. If I did not know I would one day see them both again I don't know that I could stand living as I have without them.
While visiting my sister at Delhi in 2006. I once watch the Rocky mountains concert video from that moment. I love the the group very much.
