I had a great time listening to the BB podcast while preparing for my move. Matt was my top pick in the BB fantasy league draft, and I rooted for him throughout. Just subscribed!
I think what people missed is that when Angela was making comments about how Matt is the showmance guy is that she was trying to be cute and friendly... she was kind of flirting with the cool guy trying to be cool - she looks like an old woman to him, but she was a girl trying to be noticed and cool. So, when he told her that her comments made him uncomfortable it was an embarrassing rejection... like when a man thinks he's flirting and then the girl tells him to stop harassing her... Angela felt rejected and embarrassed and old, she thought she saved face after they chatted... and then the rejection rage set in and her emotions warped her perception of him into an evil person... to her he hurt her so he must be a bad person... if he realized she was flirting and he flirted back she would have been fine... instead he told her showmance jokes make him uncomfortable... she had nerd girl arrogant rage...
Matt wasn't a strategic player, so his plan was to try and get them out. He thought the games would be like every other year, and geared towards more athletic competitors. So he wanted all stronf competitors and athletes in the end because hoa big ego thought he could dominate all the men in that house. As long as the thinkers were gone, he could win the game by winning the comps. Matts biggest flaw was not using his brain at all in this game. Like at all. And his ego. The live feeds dont lie, there is no edit there for TV. We saw you, and the way you moved Matt. And some of the things you said. You can blame Angela for your game, but the truth od the matter is, you should have never gone up there to the HOH and acted like mr badass. Letting her know if she puts you up, she'll be up next week. What did you think would happen? Gotta use that brain. So you can stop blaming Angela, your actions started the reaction that got you out. But you started it. Be salty all you want. Angela is still in the house, and youre our here giving interviews to the awesome Tyler.
It’s incredibly obvious neither host keeps up with live feeds and just watch the edited tv show, which is disappointing for Tyler. Based off their comments on the podcast and in the comment section, y’all have no idea what actually was going on in the house. Pretty much all of the houseguests hated Matt on their own merit, not because of anything to do with Angela. Matt self-isolated with Makensy half the time, and when he did (rarely) have conversations with other people in the house, he would center every conversation about himself. About how perfect he is, how hard life is when you’re as good-looking as him, how he’s such a “standup” and “high caliber” guy. He spent 0 time and effort into getting to actually know other people, which Tyler should recognize as integral in the game. They disliked him before Angela’s blowup, and they disliked him after. That is what made all the houseguests vote him off, not Angela who they all recognize as loony.
Is it even worth listening to if they are believing an edit over what people actually saw on the live feeds? I actually don't want to waste my time feeling annoyed.

Why is he lying???He was coming for Angela. He & MJ said it right when Feeds came on. MJ was in the bathroom w/Chelsea complaining abt Angela. I was shocked she was HOH. Since he’s starting off lying so won’t bother to listen to 2hrs of lying. Angela wasn’t the only female in the house who had issues with Matt’s time when he spoke to them. T’Kor said Matt leads with fear not love. He’s constantly threatening you in conversations. He only talks about himself. Kimo agreed it was hard talking to him. Brooklyn & Rubina said he spoke to them in a condescending & patronizing manner the night before the eviction. He told them if they voted him out it meant they agreed with Angela and how she spoke to him. They didn’t like the mansplaining.
He wasn’t “coming for Angela”. He was trying to warn her that he was popular and if she put him on the block, someone would put her up. With as woke as Big brother is as a show, I have been pretty disappointed and upset that they have let Angela stay in the house. She said she wasn't a bully, but I have never seen someone directly bully other players like she has this year. It's completely disgusting and should not have been tolerated. Matt is a beautiful soul and a respectable guy. Angela treated him horribly and he didn’t deserve the verbal attacks. However hus game was not good. Many houseguests including Chealsa thought he was self absorbed and didn't like him. He spent all his time with MJ and Leah so that put him on the outs. He told the HOH that we would put them up next week if they put him up. Most people would say if you dont put me up i wont put you up. Angela put a target on hia back but she has no credible in the house. He didn’t manage the situation with the other HG's enough. Not everyone will be a good player and thats ok. He's a great guy nonetheless and you guys are great .
I heard his convo w/ Angela on feeds and was so shocked and stunned in the morning when she unleashed like that as though he'd been all in her face angry and threatening. It never happened. I never once saw him raise his voice or show the slightest aggression in that house on feeds, not once. He was the most chill dude ever. I felt for him because it's not easy to be a very attractive, fit person and have people see you for the working brain in your head and the kindness in your heart more than the exterior and that's exactly what Angela did, making assumptions about him that were vastly unfair. He was clearly far more than a brainless beefcake and she had no right to do him dirty like that. From the minute she saw him, she was dogging him (claiming to be teasing, but it wasn't). She walked in with her list of stereotypical BB players and was literally assigning them to the players in the house like you're the comp beast w/ a showmance and no brain, this one's the nerd scheming and good at mental comps, this one's the princess, etc. I disliked her before she even entered the house and still don't. She's a Karen and though she has mellowed at threat of eviction, she's still whiny and annoying and takes lil snips at people. And the toddler temper tantrum over the charcuterie was beyond ridiculous. lol

Why is he lying???He was coming for Angela. He & MJ said it right when Feeds came on. MJ was in the bathroom w/Chelsea complaining abt Angela. I was shocked she was HOH. Since he’s starting off lying so won’t bother to listen to 2hrs of lying.
Angela wasn’t the only female in the house who had issues with Matt’s time when he spoke to them. T’Kor said Matt leads with fear not love. He’s constantly threatening you in conversations. He only talks about himself. Kimo agreed it was hard talking to him. Brooklyn & Rubina said he spoke to them in a condescending & patronizing manner the night before the eviction.
He told them if they voted him out it meant they agreed with Angela and how she spoke to him. They didn’t like the mansplaining.
He wasn’t “coming for Angela”. He was trying to warn her that he was popular and if she put him on the block, someone would put her up. If you watched the live feeds that week, you would see she started targeting him looong before that conversation in the HoH. It started with that first one in the bathroom.
And Matt never made it personal like Angela did. For a 50 year old mom of 2 (?), she certainly made it trashy real fast.

With as woke as Big brother is as a show, I have been pretty disappointed and upset that they have let Angela stay in the house. She said she wasn't a bully, but I have never seen someone directly bully other players like she has this year. It's completely disgusting and should not have been tolerated. She is going to be so ashamed of herself once she gets back home and sees what she did on national television. Matt got railroaded like no other on BB

He then when on to make his moot point about what he would have done had she put him up, in an aggressive and threatening manner, pointing his fingers and such. And yes, hugging the HOH is something they all do, so that was disrespectful as well. I think there needs to be some reflection on why that happened and not just "ole crazy Angela screwed him." Angela still isn't in an actual solid alliance to this day so it's not like she really had guaranteed numbers behind her.
Crazy Angela put him up and everyone else saw a chance to get a comp threat out. Don’t pretend there’s any more “reflection” to do.

I fully agree that the staircase show and the personal attacks were whack. I just think the TV edit leaves about 90% of the actual story out.
I don't want to kick a man while he's down but Matt wasn't good at Big Brother and made himself a target way before Angela ever snapped on him. People like Chelsie and Joseph were the first people to bring Matt up to Angela as an option to go up and that spiraled from there.
They were the ones who leaked to Angela that Makensy and Matt were talking about Angela in terms of a future target while Angela was still HOH. Which is just....bad. Then the paranoia machine got to Angela and we got whatever the hell the rest of that week was.
Anyway, love the podcast. I think Matt's a dope dude, but there's just more to the story that maybe he doesn't even know because it happened behind his back.

Matt is a beautiful soul and a respectable guy. Angela treated him horribly and he didn’t deserve the verbal attacks. However hus game was not good. Many houseguests including Chealsa thought he was self absorbed and didn't like him. He spent all his time with MJ and Leah so that put him on the outs. He told the HOH that we would put them up next week if they put him up. Most people would say if you dont put me up i wont put you up. Angela put a target on hia back but she has no credible in the house. He didn’t manage the situation with the other HG's enough. Not everyone will be a good player and thats ok. He's a great guy nonetheless and you guys are great .
I heard his convo w/ Angela on feeds and was so shocked and stunned in the morning when she unleashed like that as though he'd been all in her face angry and threatening. It never happened. I never once saw him raise his voice or show the slightest aggression in that house on feeds, not once. He was the most chill dude ever. I felt for him because it's not easy to be a very attractive, fit person and have people see you for the working brain in your head and the kindness in your heart more than the exterior and that's exactly what Angela did, making assumptions about him that were vastly unfair. He was clearly far more than a brainless beefcake and she had no right to do him dirty like that. From the minute she saw him, she was dogging him (claiming to be teasing, but it wasn't). She walked in with her list of stereotypical BB players and was literally assigning them to the players in the house like you're the comp beast w/ a showmance and no brain, this one's the nerd scheming and good at mental comps, this one's the princess, etc. I disliked her before she even entered the house and still don't. She's a Karen and though she has mellowed at threat of eviction, she's still whiny and annoying and takes lil snips at people. And the toddler temper tantrum over the charcuterie was beyond ridiculous. lol

Matt unfortunatly got tangled with a really sick woman! It is sad to see a woman of her age be jealous of this young man. She felt threatened by him because of his personalty. I am so sorry for him.
