I don't normally like sponsorships in videos (mostly because I think some RUclipsrs only do it for the sponsorship money nowadays and I find that very off-putting), but this one was actually fine. It's something that's genuinely useful for a number of the viewers while not exploiting the users, as well as fairly non-intrusive to the video, which is rare with today's sponsorships. Kudos to you Anthropocentrism!
the problem i have with cheap/budget techwear is that you always have less functionality the cheaper the clothing is. water resistance on pants is a good example. On the other hand you have a nice affordable shell and midlayer on the upper body, and in my opinion the backpack also has some interesting features. I particularly like the triangular quilting on the backpack straps. so yes, I think this is a successful fit, given the budget techwear challenge.

That's certainly true to an extent, but there are plenty of more expensive brands which also aren't particularly functional! It all depends where your priorities lie and what performance you actually need

Having a techwear fit with some streetwear elements is always easy to pull off for daily use. For example, today I just wore to class a uniqlo heattech shirt, Uniqlo ULD jacket, 5.11 apex pants (clean looking cargos) and some vans (wahh not tech but alas). Oh and my Y-3 ultratech backpack (not budget but). The outfit is functional, wearable and still gives off a futuristic aesthetic, but doesn't scream pockets and straps.

One option I just got is the Arcteryx Fortrez. It's a softshell fleece and has a built in balaclava. The used section price of 120 USD is roughly the price of the uniqlo and fleece together.
Owl burton, dc, armada and maybe analog has some dope high quality snow jackets that look pretty techy. Theyre pretty pricey but worth it. Plus theyre extremely durable, like extremely durable.

Especially with more understated pieces, they can really make the more expansive stuff shine (I sold my kidneys for that one expansive thing, now I have to make it look good and not let it fade into the background-kinda stuff), without it being tacky. In Australia I like checking out the circuit brand of activewear sold at big W because occasionally, they have something that works with my aesthetic. But I'm also a big guy, and their sizes run very snug so on occassion, they just don't have it long enough.
I feel like you could do some really DIY stuff on the jacket to make it stand out more and I would have personally chosen something like a messenger bag, so I feel like this could have potential for me
In comparison to the super expensive 'tech from head to toe outfits', this is not the best outfit ofc, BUT I do think this is a good starting point for techwear enthusiasts who don't have a big budget. Could also be an option for people who like the techwear look and the comfort of athleisure clothing.
I must say that the outfit was great I would wear it in the fall and also the winter months using thermal compression shirts the kind that traps heat and there is a sweater mad by Nike that acts as a second skin it’s fleece lined with these two combined you have something that’s going to protect you from the cold or from those windiest days in the fall. As for the pants they were great as well but the shoes i would recommend the Jordan proto z it’s water resistant provides good stability with harem bone traction. So those are good all year round very versatile shoe or you can go with another pair of shoes the lebron 11 they have very a sort of futuristic tone to them featuring toe strap and ankle straps for total lockdown very light weight.

But the music I usually associate w techwear would probably be stuff with futuristic sounds, techno synth beats w maybe some hip hop influences mixed in, like dark trap/ghost trap, lo-fi stuff etc
Not bad. I was a bit disappointed that half the fit was stuff you already own and have reviewed previously. I think the only things not seen before were the hat and the Columbia sweater. I do like the blocktech jacket tho as an affordable alternative to Veilance. All that being said, I really enjoy the variety of your videos lately. The branding definitely says streetwear to me, but that's not to say you couldn't wear it alongside technical or performance-based gear to make the outfit a little different to typical streetwear

I think this kinda look is pretty timeless honestly as it doesn't lean too heavily on streetwear trends and everything individually is fairly understated. The blocktech jacket actually came out in 2016 and they're pretty much using the same design so that's a good indication!

It's not Techwear. Functionality is the pillar of Techwear. For example, water resistance. I think the clothes you choose do not meet this criterion. These outfits/pieces aren't doing it for me at all. You should sell your overstock of budget jackets and get some nice acr pieces or somn. I do like the editing on this though. The side by side is nice as you do commentary while we can observe the fits. Congrats on the sponsorship too!
Acr isn't really an everyday cop retail source. Remind you that he is doing this fit on a budget, and the brand he mentioned are for more everywhere sights. And to get them from there means less design and functionality on the overall fit. It's a solid W for me.
