@@danielcoreas6886 Not certain but I reckon it was one of the Call of Duty: Zombies videos. It was down to just Ray and Gavin and obviously Gavin couldn't stay up so Ray had to just kite like crazy taking out what he could until he had an opening to quickly revive Gavin. I think eventually Ray won the last round on his own, he had more kills than everyone else combined.
This is the first time I've watched one of your tetris streams and not only enjoyed you but the game itself. The sounds, the effects - I just loved it all. Thought it was ace.
@@Kamblitionist I think he once said that if he were stuck on an island with one game, he would bring Tetris. This was in response to a question someone asked, I believe.
It's everything that has to do with interframe compression which is basically the things nowadays that the internet and tv uses to make sure your internet can handle all the data that is being sent. Here's a Tom Scott video about it: ruclips.net/video/r6Rp-uo6HmI/видео.html TL;DW: The internet and tv aren't meant to handle crazy particle effects when watching a stream or watching tv so the pixel rate dies until it gets back to something that is less random on screen.
Is there an option to adjust the intensity of the visual effects? I watched Giant Bomb's quick look on this game and it seemed less distracting than it does while Ray is playing.
Not sure, but I didn't see one in my few hours of play. If the visuals don't appeal to you I'd recommend playing some other Tetris or Nullpomino. The musically synchronized effects are the main distinction between this and previous games, so unless you really want VR or ZONE there isn't much reason for someone who isn't into the intense visuals to get this. Give it a shot if you can though. I've really enjoyed it thus far and find the visuals sort of melt into the gameplay pretty naturally.
You can but its honestly a fucking AMAZING experience in VR. It really is the true way to play it. Tho, if you have a 4k TV, the particle effects are something to behold.
@@cristo236 he's not entirely wrong. A lot of levels can be straining to look at, especially since RUclips makes nearly every game look like shit. He is grossly overstating it, but still
'It's like watching an evolved human.' ~ Gavin Free
Do you remember what video Gavin said that in?

@@slendy9600 Found it, ruclips.net/video/jcXVziLNV_E/видео.html it's about 45 minutes in.
Think he even commented that he had 95 revives or something crazy that round, carrying Gavin, Micoo, Jack, Geoff and Ryan XD.
Is that Ray?! The professional Tetris player?!
3:24 rip RUclips's bitrate
I usually listen to music whenever I'm playing Tetris. This game makes that much easier.

When I clicked this video, I didn't think I would see the absolute peak of God's work
gg Ray gg
How tf are you so good at tetris?

Anonymous Turnip what was the question?
as someone who has only played Tetris a little bit (and very badly at that) this shit blows my minds in all kinds of simultaneous ways
Ray2Good
"Ah man I suck at this, look how terrible this is."
-Ray, after clearing an area with a Tetris while blocks are placing 14 times per second.
The sheer speed he is knocking these tetrominos down the screen is brave to say the least.
Was hoping Ray would put out a video on this. Him playing Tetris is one the most satisfying things to watch
One of my favorite streams you've ever done. Thanks for uploading this to RUclips!
It should be illegal to do this many lines on stream.
Man...Watching Ray place the pieces that fast...My brain cant even think that fast.
Remember Puyo Puyo Tetris? I’d really like to see you play that again.
Me? I've never played it
Oh my god did he never use zone? That hurts my soul
it's so satisfying to watch Ray play Tetris, it makes my OCD very happy.
If I recall correctly he seems to have drastically improved since I watched him play Puyo Puyo Tetris
The cog level sounds like the group stomp
Oh my goodness, Ray is playing Tetris...
Ray playing Tetris? That's awesome! I absolutely LOVE Tetris Effect! Can't believe he actually plays it.
Love the vids Ray. Keep up your Brownman ways. Your great as you are.
Wow, this game looks absolutely amazing! 😄😁👍
My screen dies every time Ray does a Tetris. It’s just blurs.

First Tetris match:
Holy hell, are we in Kingdom Hearts?
Holy hell they go fast! But that music and effects tho! To bad I can't handle that speed good on ya ray
Wait you can play this without VR?
Yes you can. :)

He did absolutely amazing and I’m hella surprised! Probably shouldn’t be cause it’s Ray but still, hella great!
Lauz Rodríguez Tetris is one of his favorite games of all time. No joke
Hunter Mulford I know, that’s why I said I shouldn’t be surprised but I am! Absolutely mad man!
why is no one in chat telling him to use zone.
I really like your streams
Who ever made this game was on some serious drugs lol
I love you Ray
He’s so good
Vertical flip at speed 15 and up is a bitch
If you think this is visually too much, go play child of eden for 15 minutes.
awesome!
13:58 lol
This will amazing if you play/watch this high
🅱️
Don't know why Ray has to be so negative and call things in this game pretentious
He's right, it's pretentious as all hell, like far too many indie games trying to be "art"
@@jbfarley it's pretty to look at who cares
Eww..... what happened to Tetris?..... I remember when it was put brick on brick..... now it's eye rape!
imagine genuinely having this thought process
