Dragon Ball was one of those mangas where the author wanted to end it and the editorial was pushing to continue. Toriyama dropped quality after the Cell saga on purpose to have people drop the manga, but he ended up making it a bigger hit than it aleady was. Facing the attitude of the author towards continuing the story, the editorial chose to write their own thing because it was the golden egg goose, and it couldn't be allowed to end. Therefore GT.
I like how Abiko-sensei was almost falling asleep when Yoriko-sensei arrived there, but she got REALLY fired up when they started arguing 😂 that's one way to make a sleepy person awake: make them angry LOL
The ED is actually fire. They managed to get exactly the right part from it as well to play over the last few seconds, just like they did with Mephisto in season 1. It hit like a truck in ep 1, the guitar groove over "Zenbu."

The argument was one of the parts I was most exited to see animated and it was so good loved the voice acting and music it was better then I imagined when I was reading, it really feels like aka is screaming from the heart about the struggles of weekly manga theres a reason he only writes now.
Monthly manga has 40-45 pages per chapter Weekly manga has 17-20 pages per chapter So, Weekly manga has 68-80 pages per month (or 51-60 pages if the author takes 1 week break) That's hell compared to Monthly manga

I adore this episode for so many reason but the biggest of which showing how your work can affect people beyond yourself, Abiko was more angry at what happened to Sweet Today than Yoriko, and you get it, when Dragonball Evolution came out every DBZ fan was pissed, even one of the actors was sad at how it ended up as he was a fan of the series, but as mentioned before its a multi layered issue, from communication to funding to not burning bridges next time, you cant do things alone but that doesn't mean you can let people walk all over you, if Aqua wasnt in the sweet today show the people working on it were perfectly fine with it being garbage, so Abiko seeing that you can see why she'd think the Lalalie group would be the same no matter how talented they are, but she got lucky the same people that helped sweet today not suck right at the end are also part of this project, and Aqua giving her the ticket will be the first step in helping her see for herself why she should trust others a little, But more than anything she needed to vent, she needed to get out her feelings especially with Yoriko someone that wouldnt leave her no matter what and trust more than she trusts herself
You know an anime episode has connected with the viewers when you get a solid, spirited discussion that goes on for almost 10 minutes. I love every minutes of your post episode talk. Please keep it up. Also, I really like Aqua knowing the way to get to Abiko-sensei is through Yoriko-sensei, because only she can say the things that needed saying to Abiko-sensei.
I suspect the play they watched may have been inspired by Prince of Tennis, a manga and anime that "in the real world" was one of the first to be successful as a "2.5D play" on the special rotating stage used. I believe it had a super-long life as a stage play. (incidentally, many of the more popular manga/anime like Sailor Moon, Naruto, Demon Slayer, and Hunter Hunter got plays).
I liked that the part she was called out for pandering to the readers was when they dropped the romance with Akane's character and switched it to Kana's character, and Akane also noticed that. Anyone who enjoyed the manga-ka drama here should check out Bakuman (from Death Note's creator) which is about struggling manga artists trying to make it big (much as in Oshi No Ko about actors/stars) and how they navigate the industry. A couple of the characters are crazy as this one....

Irony is that because expectations become our own enemy in how we associate it to success, it causes more harm than good. Engaging in the level of "arrogance" that something can only be done the way you want it because of the best "results" is delusional...putting it lightly. The world, rather this hellishly creative endeavor, moved the way it did because of the standards being forced, but not communicated effectively. That is why only occured that being in set frames of mind usually makes people get out of touch with reality, even when they WANT to be right so much. Sheesh
