Actually just picked one of these up. I have the real steel version and it’s just cool to have. I bought an extra mag and they both leaked (one with gun and extra). Just took the base plate off and tightened the Phillips screw and no leaks!
Mine started to leak recently, so thx for the tip!

Best Training Airsoft Pistol
I bought one of the first gen Canik TP9 pistols when they first came out. Definitely a different design compared to most other modern 9mm. Looks like they haven't changed much in the last 9ish years, even across platforms from firearms to airsoft.

Where can I get the optic mount from I can’t find it anywhere or even find the option for one
Just get a red dot with rear sights integrated and problem solved. Training with this pistol is very nice. The sar 9 is also very nice.

Really long term fan of Evike, can you please answer this, maybe make an NSRT question out this. Why are companies releasing compact pistols in airsoft before full sized models now ? EMG (archon type b), (canik tp9), (f-1 BSF-19), ASG (p10c) and the PTS (zev oz9) all being released as compact models first, that have full sized options. Compact models all have shorter barrels so lower range, accuracy and FPS, along with smaller magazines so smaller gas reservoirs, fewer rounds and harder to fit a co2 cartridge for a co2 option. Not to mention shorter slide means shorter sight radius. In the real world compact pistols are good for conceal carry, but in airsoft people run around in full camo and know they are supposed to shoot at each other, so compact models are really only good for kids with small hands and people who want a training equivalent to their real steel pistol. Hard core airsofters for the most part want more rounds, accuracy and range, so can we start making more of the full size and competition length pistols considering everyone uses outside the waistband holsters for airsoft games anyway !???

As compact pistols grow in popularity in the real firearms industry, airsoft models will be made to represent. Trend follows trend. While full-frame pistols might be slightly more effective in airsoft, ultimately, the driving force behind what airsoft models exist is and always will be what is most popular in the real firearms industry.

The canik reps have actually said they have changed the pronunciation to canik with a hard c, since it is their largest market and they have been successful here

Curious how quiet this gets with a supresser.
Suppressors on GBB pistols do not change the sound signature whatsoever. Most of the noise is the slide moving and the gas escaping out of the ejection port.
@@thecrazyspud Oh never owned one. I just have seen them online. I plan on getting one a some point though. Only have my primary.
@@tamserenity If you want a truly "suppressed" airsoft pistol, go with the TM Mk23. Since it's NBB, all the gas goes out the barrel, and a mock suppressor will actually help.

Can I use a real steal mount on this? They make adapter plates that have rear iron sights

@David Ceballos you're going to have to shell out about 100 bones and buy a real steel mount from Patnik Solutions. Theirs is cut for RMR/SRO in which there are plenty of RMR and SRO replicas on the market

KhanSeb reviewed it already. If you pull the trigger slowly gas will start to spill. Doesn't seem like a good system to me.
I have one and yes that is something that happens. Just don't pull slowly and you'll have no trouble.

- Doctor, my leg hurts if I stand on it.
- Well then don't stand on it.
Pulling the trigger slowly is in fact something that you do, look into it if you didn't already know.
@@sogerc1 OK, so I just went and tested it. It only leaks gas the last ten shots When you run out of gas.(When pulling the trigger slowly)

@@ZionCass8326 Still, I will not get one, because it's an unnecessary restriction. It's really hard to innovate in airsoft because even if you come out with something better, like the GBLS DAS GDR15, it may cost a lot of money and people will not pick it up. I blame Tokyo Marui.

Yes
It comes with its already included magazine inside the gun, but no extra mags. Just 1 mag with 1 empty, mag-less Canik.

The company that made these should be ashamed, removing the rear sight when adding a red dot is dumb, co-witnesses a necessity, what happens if your battery dies in the middle of a game you have no way to aim terrible
