A lot of reactors didn't seem to realize that this took place less than a week after the first fight with Annie in the forest; and that Levi had got injured during that fight. Levi showing up to cut Eren out of his titan after his fight with Annie in the city didn't happen in the manga and spoiled the continuity of the anime a bit
I like how in these mashups, there's always that one person who has no clue on wth is going on, especially in animes with logical characters; like when Armin was provoking Bertholdt and Reiner.
If you re-watch this scene after Armin's latest attack on Liberio, you really learn to appreciate how Isayama continuously has full-circle moments in his narratives

This episode is a fvçking rollercoaster. First you see how far Mikasa is willing to go to save Eren that she might even have to attack Historia. Then we see Erwin being a jerk, so easy to sacrifice humans as a bait to lure horde of titans toward Reiner. Then we see that Bertholt was actually going through pain destroying the walls. It's a glimpse of hint for future season that they are actually also victims. Then we see Erwin actually not a jerk, but true to his words that he genuinely think sacrifices are necessary, even if that sacrifice was himself, while also being a badass at the same time. Then we see Armin showing his remarkable psychological tactics with a lie about Annie's "torture". Then we see once again Erwin's badassness, striking a decisive blow despite losing one arm. Finally they end it with a reunion with Eren's mother killer. Never I see this MUCH emotions IN ONE EPISODE.
I always thought how could there be so many coincidences with Eren and there is no scientific existence to these human eating Titans. But all I am left now with are my sins...
