Thanks for the video Kirby dude. Got mine shifting gears again. But, when pulling the vacuum during use now.. the front end lifts up. It didn't do that before.... fml
Thank you , glad it helped .The bottom of the cam should be level when in drive . So it looks parallel to the plastic back . You have to sight it through .
@@KirbyEnthusiast so NOW it’s reassembled....but running backwards...how in the world did I manage to reverse the transmission...handle reconnection Mis adjusted?...any obvious ideas?... UPDATE: failed to insert Left hand FWD/Rvrse upright fork into the black keeper/sensor ...super two fingered sensitive again!! Thanks, Chas
My Kirby "clicks" when pushed. The motor does not need to be turned on. When pushing the unit, it goes click, click, click for as long as it is pushed. Do you know what the problem is and can you show how to repair? Thank you.
Is there a special way that back lever that sits on the spline goes, on re assembling mine it seems to just jam up cant seem to get the drive/no drive on the tech drive when you operate the 2 levers!!Originally the piece had fallen out im not sure how it sits on the splined shaft!!

@@hesynergy you’ve put the pivot assembly on the rear point instead of the front. Easy mistake I’ve done it once a time ago 😂

how do you fix a tech drive that doesn’t go from drive to neutral
That will be the cam that’s broken or missing
