Yet so many people are living in abject poverty. And as usual, the roads are terrible. I can't understand why in a neighbourhood like this, there are so many potholes. Too isolated for me.
The beauty of Jamaica is unmatched. I'm so proud of my people and my country even though we have a lot of problems, I wouldn't trade for anywhere else.Jamaica land we love.Out of many one people.please keep showing this beautiful country to the world.

Only know Havendale which is nice too but was great seeing another beautiful area in St Andrew. The pitchy patchy roads dem need fix bad, although I've seen worse in JA! Still amazing how they can construct those beautiful properties in the hillside. Thanks for the relaxing journey 👍🏾

When I was growing up in Meadowbrook in the early eighties there was not one house up there, only the water commission tank,wow amazing

I wish i could see the homes/houses from the side streets. They huge.
Man, these roads are a disgrace! They must do something about the roads. The Jamaican government must not approve developments unless the developer is willing to at least pave areas near their development. Where is the patriotism? Also these areas need an association to lobby for road repairs for the areas, and also to contribute to road fixed ups and maintenance. Even the trees need to be trimmed and the grass maintains. Notwithstanding the big, nice house the neighborhood is too raggedy. What a mess!
Yes there is a lot of work to be done
The millionaires in Chancery Hall are paying PITTANCE TAXES FOR THEIR MANSIONS WHY WOULD THE GOVERNMENT SPEND OTHER TAXPAYER MONEY ON FIXING THE ROADS THAT THESE CHEAPSKATES LIVES ON

One advantage that Jamaica has on most of the Caribbean islands is the land. There are very few areas in the other islands where the law allows you to have such big lots. Maybe farmland but not in residential areas. Although it is supposed to be a wealthy area it has too much bush. It reminds me of the countryside.
We need to bring back Public Works Department PWD to fix these roads.

Not comparing Jamaica and USA but where I live if I drive past a hole 🕳️ in the road and I call Street maintenance, before the end of the day it's fixed...I guess that's what my taxes is used...I am spoiled here even though I live in. Freezer ❄️

That is why we pay so many taxes that the island people don"t and when they are asked to do so they protest. That is why public property is in such a mess, e.g., bad roads, poor lighting, poor water supply, garbage not picked up, poorly kept landscapes, etc.

Rich Jamaicans seem to build big homes on bad roads and little landscaping. Rainy season aside do they pay their taxes??

I live in a 2300 sqf house and it is too much to keep Clean, much less those mansions.
As get older I realize a lot the things we think we need is not even a want.
But I digress.
So not necessary all these big houses. Smaller houses ,use rest of land to farm your own food instead of buying imported food. Road is shameful.

Man I would like to put a good comment here but I can’t. Beautiful views yes! You driving too fast or you need to slow down the video. I get dizzy trying to look at these fast moving graphics, I get dizzy and have to change the channel. How about you slow down, maybe stop and focus on the beauty of some of these houses or the area in general. Maybe you’ll get more people actually looking at the video to the end.
