Hey! I’m from this town. This was purchased and turned into a Mexican buffet, like you said. And the restaurant was good. It was open and active, but closed down during the pandemic. It never reopened. The owners actually own a chain of successful restaurants all through the tristate. Still very much open and active today. And many a nights slept on a back booth while my mom worked the late shift. I remember when their breakfast bar came out. Was the best breakfast ever.

Back in the day, and I used to take a vacation in Columbus, Mississippi. I remember when I used to stop at Shoney's Big Boy. I was wondering if Shoney's, has separated from using the Big Boy from back in the day. Here in the Detroit and Southeastern Michigan area, and Elias Brothers Big Boy Restaurants has been closing permanently. It, sounds that Shoney's couldn't make it and went out of business. 9:27
My niece lives in Clarksville Tennessee she in the army and she's based in fort Campbell Kentucky and I think they got anywhere from 6 inches of snow to a foot of snow down there earlier this past week

Not only did they have a great breakfast buffet on the weekends, they also had a great seafood buffet on Friday nights.
