8:37 I think due to all the speedrun skips you made on this level the game didn't receive the AI message to start the boss fight and so that happened, but it might also be due to how Indy behaves due to be sick (I also saw that sometimes it didn't work, thats weird).
this game was very interesting to play on subpar hardware back in the day. my old laptop with a core 2 duo T7100 1.8GHz, 2gb ddr2 667mhz and integrated intel GMA 950 graphics could run it. but some demanding levels like Into the Mountains had some very strange behaviour. The lag meant that the grab and shimmy bars didnt work, the camera would jerk up and down getting more and more violent until it flung your character back off them. i know other weird things happened by i cant remember anymore, it was 15 years ago.
Without even watching, yes, I played though most of the game, Raiders, Temple, up to MotorCycle chase with v-sync on and it was fucking hell, my love of Lego Indy out shined the hell though and I pushed on until I could position the bike of the long and thin floor pad button
Wtf? I was under the impression that spike skip had only ever been done one time. Am I missing something? Is there a strategy now? Did you just do the hardest trick in Indy speed running and act completely nonchalant about the whole thing? I need answers!
