Milk Bath Acrylic Nails with REAL FLOWERS

- Hi everybody,
In this video I’m going to make milk bath nails.
I’m going to sculpt a really thin base in Natural and then a thin layer of Natural Beige. So, I’ve got my flowers from the garden, pick as few as possible to keep the garden healthy. I’m going to cut these up into tiny sections to encapsulate in the nail. We’re going to use Clear to glue the flowers on and Natural and Luna to create the milky effect, partially covering some of the flowers to make them look like they’re floating in milk. Cap the nails with Clear.
File and buff the nails and apply the bling.
Finish with cuticle oil.

Those might be my favorite nails that you have EVER done! So pretty! I grew up with my grandmother and she always had a very posh powdered milk bath in this lovely black ceramic container and she would let my sister and I have a milk bath if we were super well behaved. This brought back so many memories. We grew up poor so this milk bath that an admirer gave her was a real treat.
I feel like if Marie Antoinette was alive today, this would be the set of nails she would wear since she had a thing for milk baths and all things beautiful. 🤭 Gorgeous work! 💅 🔥

Hi can I ask how you dry your flowers everytime I try they turn brown and horrible! lol thx
Tie a few stems together with twine or a rubber band and hang them upside down in a dark place. Exposure to light while drying seems to drain or mute the colors. At least that is what has worked for me with lavender.

Every choice you made with this set was just stunning...from using the natural BEIGE at the natural nail/base of the design, to using that natural blush Milky color only in-between the flowers/sort of overflowing to the tops of them, and then clear capping.... WOW JUST WOW, such a gorgeous set girlfriend 😍 one of my favorites I've seen in a while!!! Amazing job, I love your work 💓

My dad use to do the "do you like butter" thing with the yellow flowers under my chin. My dad passed suddenly on may 13th 2019. And that is one of the things I remember so fondly of him. No one I tell knows the flower under the chin - liking butter thing. So it was awesome hearing that. ❤️ Lol just stuck out

I tried to do this with gel. They looked great for about half hour but then all the flowers lost their colour and went a grey-brown.... not a good look. Probably because they had fluids in them, being picked fresh. Id be interested to know how long these lasted for and if the colours stayed. Xx
Lou Cee Gee probably be best to dry them out first. Maybe put them in a book and let them dry. Love this nail idea tho.
