Hi! An alternative to yong tau foo sauce is Hoisin sauce which you can find in the Asian aisle of your local supermarket. HERE'S THE RECIPE Stir fry 1tsp of minced garlic until golden brown. Add 3 tbsp of Hoisin sauce and 2tbsp of honey. Add cornstarch slurry to get to your desired consistency. Hopefully, this helps!❤
You have demo on how to make the sauces, introduced the various ingredients and the process of putting the ingredients and rolling up the chee cheong fun, very detailed and very good. But you failed to mentioned the most important ingredient and step in making it and that is Chee cheong fun batter itself…. Lol. You did mentioned the ingredients of the chee cheong fun batter in the description box but I felt a demo on how to make the batter, what are the consistency of the batter etc. should be included in the video.
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind feedback. With regards to how to make the batter, I showed it at the beginning of the video. Hopefully, you can find it. Thanks. 😊

No problem. Do use a non-stick pan. Heat up this non-stick pan in the steamer before you smear it with oil. Should be OK after this. All the best!
Very delicious food. What is yon tau foo sauce?
Yong tau foo sauce is a sweet sticky sauce used as dressing for salads, Chee Cheong Fun sauce, or dipping sauce for fried foods and bbq dishes.

Hi ! You need not allow the dough to stand. I just steam after I have mixed the ingredients.

Do we rest the batter?
Hi! I steamed the batter immediately I made it. No need to let it stand. Just remember to stir the mixture just before you use it.
2nd soy sauce with sambal (dry shrimp paste chilli sambal) will match very well
