    Tq for the recipe. My cheong fun tend to stick to the aluminium baking tray even I brush the tray with oil each time and have to clean the tray after each cheong fun. I even steam it for 3-4 minutes. The cheong fun is so soft and the sauce is fantastic. Pls advice the sticky cheong fun

      No problem. Do use a non-stick pan. Heat up this non-stick pan in the steamer before you smear it with oil. Should be OK after this. All the best!

    What's alternative to young tau foo sauce

    • @monicassingaporekitchen9975
      @monicassingaporekitchen9975  4 месяца назад

      Hi! An alternative to yong tau foo sauce is Hoisin sauce which you can find in the Asian aisle of your local supermarket.
      HERE'S THE RECIPE
      Stir fry 1tsp of minced garlic until golden brown. Add 3 tbsp of Hoisin sauce and 2tbsp of honey. Add cornstarch slurry to get to your desired consistency. Hopefully, this helps!❤

    You have demo on how to make the sauces, introduced the various ingredients and the process of putting the ingredients and rolling up the chee cheong fun, very detailed and very good. But you failed to mentioned the most important ingredient and step in making it and that is Chee cheong fun batter itself…. Lol. You did mentioned the ingredients of the chee cheong fun batter in the description box but I felt a demo on how to make the batter, what are the consistency of the batter etc. should be included in the video.
