Had my bailey phoenix + 644 for 1 year Now, in my view this caravan is FANTASTIC, it looks brilliant and every touring site I go on people always comment how Great it looks, I brought mine last year 2021, the new price for the 2022 model has risen considerable!!! For excacly the same van, how lucky was I to buy it last year, use it regularly, and touch wood have had NO problem with it whatsoever!!! WELL DONE BAILEY suburb caravan 5 stars all the way!!!!
On entry level there isnt a microwave , is this something you prefer to have or are you a proper oven user ? I remember my grandparents owning a caravan and this was before microwaves , they always used an oven . I should have waited , now I see the microwave and tbh i think that is a better place for it . its not above the hob.
If you have your caravan door open say in hot weather it looks like the door will block the fridge vents bad design I think fridge will struggle to cool?
The shelving above the window in the bedroom reminds me of those old plate racks one used to see in little houses.lol... of no use whatsoever .I like the fact that the curtains are ok and the blind is plain . In American vans they often pad the frame of the windows and that makes them so dated .When you mentioned that if 4 of you are in the van that if they wanted to use the bathroom i can imagine the ones in bed turning up their radios so they cannot hear everything going on .
Saw this at the show yesterday. Although we preferred the coachman range we couldn't justify why we would be spending £10k more on one of theirs. This carvan is a must see before putting pen to paper on anything else
Couldn't really ask for more at that price! Straight onto anyone's shortlist, get exactly what you would expect with this which really does throw criticism particularly on the pegasus range above. The Phoinex range seem great family vans, great usability, light to tow, look good. A couple of extras and some cushions thrown around it would be as fancy and cosy as any other. Great review both 👍
Feel lack of window in the door really is penny pinching, how much cheaper is a door without a window across lots of vans ? can’t be much surely. Nice review Karina. Looking forward to your reviews of the new Unicorns 😁
Thanks Colin, I have no idea about the cost, surely cannot be that much. Many of the entry levels seem to go with this style, maybe its to make the next model up seem more luxury. I will get the Unicorn as soon as I can but I have had to say we cannot go to the launch as it clashes with Coachman and we are at that. Have a lovely week 😊 Karina
You had a little trouble opening up that bathroom door i noticed , but the door itself bangs into the small shelf on the wardrobe . I think the company should have noticed this and corrected it .
You mentioned on a previous review of the fact that there wasnt a shelf in the shower . you would have thought that even at entry level this would have been standard , i think the other review was for a more expensive model and it didnt have a shelf either .
Great review Karina. Filming pretty good to joules. A good layout but I think the 640 is so much better all theround and top selling in the range... Soyes we Bought one 6 weeks on its great... Kitchen space cupboards really good . Don't need electric hot plate as 99% off grinding.. please review the 640.. it's even got a shelf for the shower gel
I notice that in the kitchen on a number of models you have reviewed , the air blown heating controls seem to be placed on the wall adjacent to the sink, why is this ?
The two places to find the controls are usually near the door when you come in or on the kitchen wall. I presume its just a convenient location more than anything 😊
Thank you Julia, Now you have me thinking, I imagine there would have been a table stored in the wardrobe but I missed that in the review. 🤔😐 Have a great week, Karina
For the money it looks great value, but nowhere in the shower to put your shower gel, sponge etc. C'mon Bailey you can do better than that. You didn't mention flyscreens, but it looks as if it has them. Also no cutlery tray and there appears to be no waste bin on the door. Add a few of those cheap extras and it would be even better.

Great to hear you are enjoying your Bailey and that you bought before the price rise. I hope you have had an amazing jubilee weekend 😊 Karina
Another fab & thorough review, entry level maybe but still a very nice van. Cheers Dave & Helen 👍
Thanks Dave and Helen, have a lovely week 😊
This is a better caravan and clearly better thought out than the previous model.
Thanks for watching Andrew and I agree 😊

Good evening Karina , nice to see you again .I waited a couple of hours to watch this review , its so hot and humid here i had a nana nap .lol
Morning..thank you for watching and yes, it was very muggy yesterday 😊
just a few ikea suction hooks in the shower and ive bought a collapsible bin for mine ( dont lije them on the door anyway).
Love this one for the money it is spot on. Another great review as always. Thank you and see you soon in the next one.
Thank you Paul, for the money this is a good contender when matched against its competitors 😊 Have a lovely week, Karina

It could, yes, thats a good thing to mention. Thank You for watching, Karina
@@HereWeTow very true but. So many have this set up..always compromise some where

Any idea if the chest can be removed for wraparound seating can’t see it in the options
Im not aware that can be removed Steven, a dealer would confirm that for you though. Thank you for watching 😊 Karina

Thank you Kevin, yes, for the price it competes well in its sector. Have a good week 😊 Karina and Jules

I thought this at first. But we had a new front door on our house. Yes it has glass but opaque.. so can't really look through it much any way
You had a little trouble opening up that bathroom door i noticed , but the door itself bangs into the small shelf on the wardrobe . I think the company should have noticed this and corrected it .
Yes the door took a bit of push to get back but I think there was a stopper there that prevented it going any further. Well spotted 😊 Karina
You mentioned on a previous review of the fact that there wasnt a shelf in the shower . you would have thought that even at entry level this would have been standard , i think the other review was for a more expensive model and it didnt have a shelf either .
Yes that is right, I think most people want somewhere to put their shower gel etc so a shelf is always a positive. 😊

@@HereWeTow on the phoenix I think its because the combi boiler is under the seating next to it
Great review as always….did I miss there wasn’t a table included?

@@HereWeTow it's under the bed Karina 😉
Thank you Victor 😊👍
Very similar to the last one, lovely! How many more are there? So many models and all out of reach! xx
Thank you Anne, thats it for my reviews but there are plenty in the Phoenix range. Im sure you will get your camper one day 😊
@@HereWeTow we have the 640 rear island bed it's the best in the range... My opinion of course
We tried that on a few years ago and the centre washroom was a good space. I hope you are both okay 😊 Karina

Thank you for watching David.. yes there are flyscreens and I agree, a few finishing touches are what it needs. Have a great weekend 😊 Karina
