I have my own craft room built out, but I may have to give it up as my son-in-law mayneed to move his mother in. I have offered to give up my craft room, but not my craft. Create Room offers finance they also have a preassembled option ( downside it cost $499). Depending on the high of your roof you might not need the Crown. Wow! What a gorgeous space! I have wanted the Dream Box for the past few years, but haven’t had the opportunity to buy one, yet. Like you said, I’m sure I have spent at least that amount with all of the other storage solutions I have tried. We just moved and my craft room is lots smaller than our old house. I have so much stuff that it’s hard to even walk around in there. Thanks for showing this video, what a blessing to have such a wonderful creative space. Wow! Your craft cabin and your Dreambox look amazing, Bibi! Us crafters always struggle with storage (at least I do!) and it always ends up that you spend a lot on storage and then buy more and more. Better to invest (if you can) in the first place for a better solution and that Dreambox looks wonderful! Sadly, I don’t have space for one but I love how yours looks and how organised it is. I agree that when we tidy items away that it's easy to forget what we have. Also enjoy seeing my colour collections and the packaging, for example on nuvo drops are too pretty to hide. The table workspace doesn't look very wide though and I wonder whether it would take the weight of a heavy cutting/embossing machine or whether you house that on your kitchen cabinets? I thoroughly enjoyed watching your creative space develop from start to finish. Bravo.
Hi Maggie, thank you . The table is very sturdy and it hold the weight of a heavy die-cutting machine with no problem . I do all the work on the table . It certainly won’t allow me to spread all the supplies as I used to do before on a larger table so it keep me organised. I use the supplies and then I put them back on their place as is easy and quick to do this. I have various die cutting machines so I only have one on the table permanently . The others are on my kitchen cabinets worktop. X

Where do you store your glass Matt when not in use. Or other larger things like score boards, tonic folders. Did you use all your boxes and shelves or have you made sections bigger to accommodate items ? If you didn’t use all the shelves or boxes where do you keep them? Where do you keep items that don’t fit in there? Do you still have space to put the upcoming tonic various club dies and stamps that you get? Also do you find that you do NOT close it every time you stop crafting.
Hi Viv, yes I do keep the box open. if I need to close it I just put the glass mat to a side. The few shelves I'm not using are above the box inside the crown - no over the light area tho. Underneath the table, there is plenty of room to organize larger supplies and I still have some of the kitchen cabinets in the other end of the room. They are still messy, so I'm not proud to show them. I don't have Tonic folders any longer they take too much room. Yes, I still have room for new supplies. Oh ! I used a few of the Dreambox trays to store some of my sewing supplies inside the cabinets but I thought that was irrelevant.
Not irrelevant at all as I have sewing AND crochet stuff I need to store. I now need to work out how much room would be taken up by crafts, yarn and sewing !
This really useful to watch as i am also trying to figure out how best to store my craft supplies as we are remodelling the house and i may need to give up craft room. I have been thinking out this box so its helpful to see your video. I would love to see an update in a few months to what you think after using it for a while,

Thank you. I fitted 90% of my supplies in the Dreambox. I have some papercraft supplies still in my kitchen cabinets that could be fitted in the Dreambox that is only for papercraft. the kitchen cabinets are for other hobbies. I have many hobbies. lol
Thanks for showing everything,. Did the deliveryman bring it into the home or was it your choice to have to take things out of it in your driveway. It is truly beautiful. Again, thanks for showing us how to put it together and showing how much product it can hold. I love it and I will have one someday. You are so deserving of this Dreambox!
Thank you very much . It is my pleasure. The delivery man will drop the box in any place you tell him outside your property. They won’t go inside expect from a garage for example. . The access to my garden is through my driveway so that I asked him to leave it there :) individual pieces were not heavy but the pre- assemble option might contain heavy pieces as all comes together . For that you need 2 people at least :) hope that helps and any questions please ask . X

Like you I’m in Scotland and my back garden doesn’t get much sun as it’s north facing and even in summer, the house shadow leaves my back garden with poor light so I worry that a craft cabin would be too dark and cold to work in......well done on doing so much of the diy yourself...I was in awe watching you lol xx

I’ve always thought those DreamBoxes were too expensive but when you mentioned having previously spent money on organizing systems that weren’t working, this could make more sense as an initial investment. I love your craft space! Are you enjoying it as much as you thought (were hoping) you would? Anything you’d do differently since you made this video?
