I was at this trumpet awards working as a runner for the catwalk operators and I clearly remember this was the best performance of the evening.The whole event was sponsored by Cheetos. What people didnt see were the sponsor-appointed speakers who came out and did 3 presentations during the program. one lasted 15 mintues and involved chester cheetah dancing to "Wipe-out." confusing for both the presenters, nominees, and the audience. They changed sponsors the next year and went with Firestone tires. i didnt work that one. But i met Charles S Dutton and he was cool. He kind of reminds me of my old boss at pizza hut.
