- I am stoked on our new camera and setup! We will be using it on all future productions moving forward, and have used it on our last 4 films shoots! Ideal for solo operators and pulling off a high production look on a smaller scale crew.

@devinsupertramp Devin, you always have brought the best out in filmmaking for creators! Going all the way back to the GlideGear stabilizer, I bought one watching your videos. So thank you for your continuous pushing of the creative envelope. I've been looking at DJI products for a while, and the Ronin 4D definitely changes the game. Now that the Inspire 3 DJI drone is nearly on the market, it would be interesting to see if you and your team see the worth in it and use it in your future projects. @@devingraham4759 I just finished watching the Hawaii video, and the Inspire 3 BTS video!! Great stuff!! When you said you were wondering when there would be a drone that could capture 8K, I was like only DJI could! With the Ronin 4D, it was merely clues for the next step of drones to be able to incorporate the Zenmuse family of lenses from DJI. My dream project would be to have both the Ronin 4D and the Inspire 3 as my tools. But, the building up is just as exciting. I will be getting my first DJI product, the Mini 3 Pro, along with an RS3 stabilizer soon, this summer. Thanks!!!!
The flex to me is the Jib arm which I need for low sweeping shots then back to high mode without the headaches of using counter weights on jibs. I thought about getting a rs3 gimbal with my Canon R5C, paired with a Tilta Float, but DJI's ecosystem looks more promising.

How do you travel with your equipment? how do you keep it safe from damage?
Such a good video and BTS. Live in Utah and just received my 4d 8k with all accessories from Pictureline. Film the tv show Relative Race, many documentaries and a lot of productions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I love my flex system! One problem though, that bag has been sold out since the flex became available so I really have no way of using it run and gun
That would be tough, the bag is rad and can't imagine using it without it. Sorry to hear.
Yea, I was sent a notification at 5am. that the bag was back in stock... by the time I saw the notification, the bag was sold out again! :(

It's the one made for it, on DJI's website :)

but do you lose the 4th axis with the flex?
Correct. You become the 4th axis. Haha. So it's smoothest with the 4D. But with the Flex you become much more mobile, such as now you can mount it on other things, use it as a jib, etc. So they both have a big purpose.

How is it????
It’s the 8k combo which came with the DJI pz 17-28mm zoom lens - it’s a Christmas present to myself so haven’t opened it yet lol - will do on Christmas Day - it’s funny as I had preordered the 8k when ronin 6k came out and cancelled it after a year or so because the shop kept asking if I wanted to cancel as there was no update from DJI so I did - but then saw the 8k model was released a few days ago so ordered it and 2 days later received it - now showing on uk website 4-6 weeks wait time if I was to ordered it today so got in just in time. Also fantastic its in a combo as was shocked when 6k model came out that I had to spend ££££££ and it didn’t even have a lens! Anyway will have a play with it Christmas - no idea what I’m going to use it for lol I’ve got the new DJI pocket 3 haven’t used it lol have the Sony a1 only used it twice I have the Sony a7siii haven’t used it at all ! Have the DJI m300 huge drone only flow it a handful of times lol I should stop buying what the influencers keep demoing lol keep up the great videos!
