I’m interested in becoming an engineer but I don’t want to have school loans again. Would I get an opportunity to work with engineers and what kind of personality trait is a good fit for a quality engineering?
Most likely not possible. Quality engineers need to have in most cases undergraduate/graduate education or lengthy professional education. You won't grow to a quality engineering position from a production line worker, unless your company is really small and they don't care about organizational hierarchies. But most companies have hierarchies in place. The personality traits are really not that meaningful. Best scenario to entry such position is to have relevant education + certification (e.g., lean management belts, aspics certificate, etc.)
