Dear default TCP monitor will be there for all service groups or services. But for any custom backed service monitoring like exchange, custom.monitors are used.
Good video. I have a requirement to disable tls 1 and 1.2 for management ip. Will it affect our existing infra? I guess this needs to be done from traffic management load balancing services internal services. Please let me know
Dear TLS 1 disabling is fine. But 1.2 is latest supported even though 1.3 is there. It effects only Mgmt interface. Worst case you will need to connect and enable it again from putty if GUI doesn't work.
That will work as long as front end virtual ip port for load balancing is different Example storefront lb vip on port 443 and other app on same vip port 80 or 8443 .. Backend application server port doesn't matter as users will connect to vip only.
Hi Siva, is this mandatory that SSL configuration while doing Citrix gateway setup, I have done all setting except ssl,. However still I could see gateway is down state. The STA and Store is up. Could you please comment on this
Dear Citrix gateway works on SSL only as that's the purpose of gateway to provide secure SSL connectivity to end users over internet. Gateway does ICA proxy which translates 1494,2598 traffic over 443 and provide access to users. So SSL certificate is mandatory, without that vserver will show down and it won't work. Hope it helps Thanks Siva
@@SivaSankarvlogs thanks siva, your video and explanation is good and I all gray area has been cleared. Its giving much confident on netscaler. Please share basic troubleshooting video on netsacler which will helps lot.
Set DNS records is a key to no trouble!! It's finally help me setup GW with SF integration. Thank you Siva!
Thank you so much for having a legend of your environment. I got held up on the STA last week, wish I'd found your video sooner.
The most useful Netscaler video I ever watched. Precise and informative. Keep up the good work Siva!!

Thanks Siva for the videos
Welcome @uddave Jajoo. Long time mate.
Siva Sankar vlogs yes long time. It’s good to see your videos on these topics. Learning never stops.
Please make videos with multiple NetScaler devices and HA, Sync between them...
Sure
really good video and smooth explaination , just was wondering if it is necessary to configure a monitor for the load balancing

@@SivaSankarvlogs thank you sir
You are the best!
Apologies for the noob question, still learning... but, don't we need to also load balance the brokers?
Could you please walkthrough the user traffic crosses entire infrastructure with small example?
Kindly watch my video on one arm two arm mode.

True. Select the service for Mgmt and disable those TLS settings.
Please make a video on GSLB configuration and DNS entry required for it
Sure
Shall we use same Virtual server for multiple back end load balancing ? Example for an application in backend as well as storefront . Will that works.
That will work as long as front end virtual ip port for load balancing is different

will NetScaler hostname register automatically with DNS server? Or do we need to add an entry manually?
We need to add manually
speaking too fast ..
Thanks, will try to be slow.
