Let's see how Madara Uchiha would do against every Hokage. We've seen Madara vs Hashirama, Madara vs Tobirama, Madara vs Naruto, albeit Naruto was not Hokage, Madara vs Tsunade during the Madara vs 5 Kage fight, and glimpses of Madara vs Minato. But in this video we're going to determine the most appropriate form of Madara to fight against any given Hokage.
We'll use Edo Tensei Madara, Revived Rinnegan Madara, even Juubidara for a certain fight. We will also talk about a hypothetical Mangekyou Sharingan Madara, and the Madara that fought against Hashirama in the Valley of the End.

I think that we can all agree that both Naruto and Sasuke should've been stronger in Boruto. IMO they nerfed the two characters so the next generation would have a chance to shine.
The shin Uchiha arc shows how much they dropped the ball on power scaling. Naruto can't catch a single clone with his RSM (should be RSM but people like to say it's BM or BSM).
main shin counters Sasukes teleport twice, once because he can see out of the eyes in the back of his head...
And then Sakura comes out of literally nowhere screaming chanaroo full volume... And reaction blitz main Shin.
It's not so much that they were nerfed power wise but rather the pure scale was toned down. No Bijuu bombs wiping away mountains and such.
And any time Naruto is allowed to go all out he gets hard countered.

they didn’t really nerf them Kishimoto said he had to tune the fights down and show the strength in a different way , that’s why all of they opponents absorb jutsu , naruto and sasuke duo dog walks anybody with they jutsu arsenal it literally wouldn’t make any sense if they ever lost , they casually could just dish out village destroying level jutsu
I’m glad Kishimoto foreshadowed Madara’s badassery all the way from Part 1 with his statue at the Final Valley to talks of his greatness from Kurama to Itachi who builds up the hype. It paid off when the real Madara showed up on the battlefield and he didn’t disappoint.
There has to be a reason why Hiruzen was so strong in his prime that we dont know about. I mean in his WEAKEST form he fought against 3 kage level shinobi, Killed 2 and badly wounded the 3rd one, all while holding back for most of the fight. Then you have the Anbu captains and Enma reminding the audience multiple times during the fight, how much older and weaker Hiruzen got compared to his prime self. this was done on purpose to make us think "If the fight we saw was him at his worst, then how strong he really used to be?"
Like look at the scale of his 5 element jutsu attack as an edo nerfed old man Hurizen. That was like the best raw elemental jutsu we’ve seen.
Nah, it was just retconned. Typical inconsistent writing by Kishimoto. I imagine the 3rd was probably originally supposed to be the second strongest Hokage after Minato, but that was just forgotten and then altered.

Besides, back in the day when Hashirama "killed" Madara, he didn't have his Rinnegan, he had Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, so it wasn't his strongest version really

If we look at it like that, okay me vs you but your strong and beat me at every fair fight, so I find a baseball bat and start carrying it around wherever I go but we never fight one on one again. Does that make me stronger than you, or is the bat just stronger than you? The ten tails is the bat. It is something Madara picks up and is not innate to him. It's like saying that bringing a gun to a fist fight makes me stronger. Maybe smarter or more prepared for confrontation, but not stronger. Also, if at any time we see each and I happen to have that bat, it's no longer a fair 1 vs. 1 and not the most accurate way to gauge the stronger opponent.
@sisekoxhamela235 Also, nobody looks at the situation correctly it took Madara damn near a century after Hashirama killed him for his renegan to awaken, and I'm still not sure if that makes him strong enough to defeat Hashirama. So again, speculation.

Madara was given the enjoyment to step on Tobirama's face but even with the six path powers didn't get to put down Hashirama. Something he had always wanted.
Hashirama was there in his most brutal and peaceful moment.
Madara could have killed hashirama in thier last fight. When hashirama used wood clone and stabbed madara, hashirama said he used the last of his chakra in that move. Madara then uses izanagi to enact project tsukuyomi, but he could have used it to stab hashirama back.

Minato is overrated, he doesn''t have as much chakra as Tobirama(who is a senju), he is only the master of flying raijin, has rasengan and sage mode, let''s not forget that alive Minato doesn't have Kurama, edo Minato is only that strong because of Kurama, it makes all the difference(and him having Kurama in that state is kind of incongruent, he exchanged his life to remove half of Kurama's chakra, it shouldn't mean that they were in the same place and somehow he befriended Kurama). In my opinion he is definitely weaker than Hashirama and around the same level as Tobirama, possibly slighly weaker. And edo Hashirama is not the strongest version of his, his alive form is, where he can use 100% of his chakra and summon Bodhisattva, he can't summon Boddhisattva in his edo form.

Just to point out, edo madara fought edo hashi while only using his legacy abilities. If madara wanted to, he could of used his own wood style and rinnegan to best hashirama easily.
We don't, if he could have why didn't he? about woodstyle it is simple, he didn't use wood style simply because Hashirama was the master of woodstyle, he probably was weary of that and it wouldn't have scared or surprised Hashirama. Madara in his edo form still didn't have sage mode, which was a great advantage for Hashirama. About the rinnegan abilities, a case can be made for that, but it wouldn't have changed much in that fight, unless it could absord woodstyle, but the rinnegan doesn't seem to work like that. His chances would be a meteorite or something like that.
@@laaaryify Madara has wood clones with their own Susanoo. Rinnegan absorbs jinton and all chakra natures. Not sure he can make full 1000 arm Buddha but definitely golems considering his first attempt at deep bloom and clones. Also Tengai and shinra tensei.

I presume it is unlikely he can make the Bodhissatva, that requires sage mode, not even edo hashirama could make Bodhisattva, golems possibly(but it doens't show, otherwise he would have used them agains the 5 kage). I am almost sure he can't summon Bodhisattava(strongest Mokuton ability), and likely he couldn't create the wood golem, which is also very powerful since he is not a natural woodstyle user and is not hashirama himself. Many people who have hashirama cells can't reproduce the strongest jutsus. About rinnegan, possibly, it it seems weird with rinnegan, we see that some characters can perform some jutsus and others don't. sasuke never uses shinra tensei, Obito doesn''t use the six paths jutsus, like soul pulling etc, but we presume that Madara could.
@laaaryify we presume madara can because its simply stated that all rinnegan users have access to the abilities pain used.
And obito states he didny use them because they already knew the counters from fighting pain.
Madara uses the preta, deva path, outer path regularly as well which shows he has access to the different paths abilities.

But in fact we see that many useful rinnegan abilities are not used, the animal summons are useful and never used again, the soul pulling skill(which almosto killed Naruto when Nagato was revived) is also pretty handy, never used again, but this could be because Kishimoto didn't want to repeat the abilities. Sasuke not using the shinra tensei or bansho ten is weird, they are very useful. The human path is extremley OP and never used again, Obito saying that is not that much convincing, I think Kishimoto did a degree of bad writing here or Obito was overwhelmed by controlling the 6 jinchuurilki and thus could not use the 6 path jutsus on top of controlling such immense chakra.

Naruto, and Sasuke were definitely nerfed in Boruto. Jigans power is literally to grow and shrink things, and he was slapping them around like they didn't fight Madara and Kaguya (if you actually consider her above Madara in terms of fighting ability) years before fighting him. It seemed like their first encounter with an opponent that strong. Not to mention Jigan kicking Sasuke out of the Susanoo like it was just an illusion, and served no defensive purpose was irritating. It should've at least shattered, but it looked like he kicked through purple fog.

@@bloster_ant Jigen' ability to shrink and grow things is not more powerful than six paths senjutsu. It'd be fine if the villains actually felt powerful, but they don't. From the description of their abilities alone, and not plot armor "this guys stronger than this guy because I'm the writer and I say so. The old cast won't even be able to touch him" bs pain would fold Jigen because the rinnegan abilities are way more powerful and useful than Jigens abilities, and they couldn't just be absorbed by they karma mark because they aren't ninjutsu. The only reason Jigen is "stronger" is because his taijutsu is "stronger" and he has the ability to take more damage because of the bs excuse that he's an Otsutsuki who consumed several chakra fruit. You'd think that'd give him a few more cool unique abilities other than shrinking and growing shit with a pocket dimension HE CAN'T ENTER HIMSELF (worse than kamui)
@@swagmiredoesall Your logic is incredibly bad. All SPSM does and any Sage mode for that matter is increase chakra, all physical abilities, regeneration, and sensory ability. Jigen has the Karma which directly inherits the power of an Otsutsuki to him when he activates it. The “usefulness” of an ability only goes as far as its strength and/or the skill of the user. Let’s run down the Rinnegan’s abilities rq. Asura path mechanizes your body and creates weapons, it was destroyed twice in the Pain assault, and was blitzed by SM Naruto that second time. Animal path summons all those different summonings, which can be dealt with by other summonings or your own strength, as Naruto threw the big Rhino into the air. Human path only works effectively against targets way weaker than you, it’s like reaper death seal in the way it’s like a tug of war, we see this in the Edo Nagato fight, also the target has to be restrained and not fighting back for it to work. Preta path is just one of the Karma abilities. Naraka path is broken in utility but has almost no combative use. The deva path’s almighty push was getting broken through by 6/7 tails Naruto while none of the other pains were active, meaning the deva path was amped 6x. Also chibaku Tensei (deva) was broken out of by 8 tails Naruto and easily broken out of by Momoshiki, so it’s irrelevant in the Boruto series. There’s a reason why almost all Sasuke uses his Rinnegan for is his Amenotejikara, as it’s by far the most broken Rinnegan ability we’ve seen (aside from maybe limbo clones but Otsutsuki with Rinnegan and most likely Isshiki’s Dojutsu could also see them just like Sasuke could). Yes the Rinnegan is very versatile and powerful, but it only goes so far when the chakra and physical capabilities get as high as these mid-high Otsutsuki level enemies in Boruto. When you’re going up against enemies that absorb chakra, jutsu become almost useless except in the most well timed attacks, which feel a lot more like ninja fighting to me. There’s a lot more strategy and ninja trickery in the high level Boruto fights than there were at the end Shippuden, and this was done on purpose. They’re not nerfed in that they’re not as strong, but maybe you could say they’re nerfed in that they can’t use their strongest ninjutsu against the enemies they fight against cause it’ll just be absorbed, which btw was a thing that started happening a lot in Shippuden. With all that in mind, yeah his taijutsu and physical stats are a lot better than Naruto and Sasuke’s but that’s because he’s literally 100% genetically Otsutsuki, even while being an imperfect vessel. It was stated by Naruto and Sasuke themselves that Kaguya was way stronger than Madara, and Kaguya
@@bloster_ant you said a lot of nothing there. You didn't explain how Jigens dojutsu is "better" than the Rinnegan. You just said how Naruto beat them, and that's my point. When you look at their abilities they're way better than Jigens shitty dojutsu. The only reason Jigen is "stronger" is because of all the bs plot holes around Otsutsuki and Chakra fruit. If they wanted him to feel strong and have his shit ass dojutsu than his dojutsu should be a side not the main show. The ground should tremble with his every step because his chakra is so dense it's got physical mass. He should create air shockwaves when he punches. He doesn't do shit but shrink things and grow them, and he has a pocket dimension that's less useful than Kamui ESPECIALLY for him because as far as we know he might not have even been able to put OTHER people in it. Kawaki is the only person we see put anyone in there, and it seems like it'd been beneficial to the person getting trapped in there to if he actually were to let them out because while Jigen/kawaki will have aged and likely weakened, the person who was trapped will be just as young/strong as when they got trapped. So there's ANOTHER reason Kamui, a MS ability not even a separate dojutsu, is definitively better. Jigens chakra pool and durability are his only real strengths, and he only has them due to bs plot armor (he's an Otsutsuki, a race with undefined strength aside from they're stronger than normal people, who absorbed a massive amount of chakra fruit which have the same issue of being unable to measure how strong they actually make you it's just stronger). He may even be stronger for that reason, but that is boring and stupid which is my entire point. That's what makes it feel like everyone else got nerfed. When a villains only strength over the heroes is that they hit harder and can take more hits it's really boring. Especially when in the previous series they ender chopping mountains in half, creating moons, canyons, and casting genjutsu onto the moon. If Jigen took the moon and summoned it above the protagonist and dropped it on them If go "ok, this guy fucks people up", and he theoretically can, but he doesn't. Sasuke could cut a mountain in half with his susanoo, and from what we've SEEN from Jigen he'd take like 30 punches or just grow something inside of it which really down feel as powerful. Also spsm also gives you access to kekkei mora, Naruto wasn't able to control truth seeker orbs before getting it, which also have the problem of not feeling significant, but a lot less than Borutos whole power system thus far. Also the rinnegan is still stronger because it doesn't need to be used in six paths, and the abilities are stronger and more useful. You didn't explain how the rinnegan was worse you explained how Naruto beat pain a non-otsutsuki rinnegan user, and you're trying to compare that to Jigen, the "strongest" Otsutsuki we've seen this far. If Jigen had a rinnegan he'd be much stronger. That'd just be boring because everyone else had that or a a byakugan. So it wouldn't be very interesting, not that his actual dojutsu is much better than using one of those two again because what he actually has is really boring and stupid.

Just because the Rinnegan has more utility than Isshiki’s Dojutsu doesn’t mean it’s stronger. The point IS that Naruto beat them. A much weaker version of Naruto. Things that late Shippuden, and Boruto level characters can do easily. But if you need more details on how his is better than sure. Sukunahikona is quite literally just shrinking and enlarging objects. You say that that’s all it is implying that it’s weak, when I say it implying that it’s simple. An ability doesn’t have to be complex to be powerful, which is especially true for Jigen/Isshiki/Kawaki. The daikokuten dimension isn’t meant to be like a personal dimension like the kamui, you forget that these guys can just casually hop between dimensions at will, which means they could easily leave the kamui realm if they were to be trapped there by Obito/kakashi. The daikokuten is more so used as a storage space for a seemingly infinite amount of weapons and items, mainly chakra rods (pain used these). The difference is that they can shrink them to microscopic sizes, small enough to where even Sasuke’s Rinnegan struggles to track them. They can pierce you and you have no idea, and then almost instantly he can enlarge them to where they can inflict mortal wounds (almost instantly = very fast = lots of energy and power, which is the reason why it’s so broken). Absolutely none of the characters in Naruto could go up against this ability, especially since Sasuke and Naruto were pretty much defenseless to it, but they were physically strong enough to just pull them out and keep fighting. On one hand, you have the Rinnegan, whose abilities were countered by SM Naruto in early Shippuden, and Kamui which is entirely useless against Otsutsuki cause they can naturally travel dimensions, and on the other an ability that could only be countered first by Baryon mode Naruto. You tell me which is stronger. I’m not exactly sure why you’re saying the Otsutsuki and chakra fruits are plot holes, it doesn’t really seem like you know what plot hole means. Chakra fruits are just physical manifestations of chakra (I.e. energy, in the real world physical matter is also made up of energy, the fruit is just made up of chakra). Yeah he could make the ground shake if he wanted to, but that would kind of be a waste of energy would it? I mean are these things really that important to you? If so, and you’re so set on Madara and other Shippuden characters being stronger than why don’t they shake the earth with their steps and strikes? Kind of a crazy trivial thing, like you’re just making shit up to complain about. Not even Jinchuriki who have the tailed beasts chakra (including ten tails) shake the earth so we really have no basis on that do we. The only things that shake the ground are massive beings like the full tailed beasts and giant summonings. Yeah Kawaki could put people in there, but the whole point of the karma is to 1. Revive Otsutsuki when they die, and 2. To transfer their power into another body, with a higher floor to stack their own power on top of, so it’s not crazy to think that Kawaki is naturally better at it, after all Borushiki is stronger than base Momo, and that’s just Boruto’s body possessed and in possession of Momoshiki and his power, stacked on top of Boruto’s. Why would it be beneficially for the person trapped in the daikokuten? Naruto’s gonna be released into a world that’s gone to complete shit, and that’s completely power cliffed him, not to mention if you were to never release someone who was trapped, then that’s pretty much like them dying with no afterlife. Put into some place where time doesn’t flow, you can’t think, feel, anything at all, and it never ends, if Kawaki were to just choose to not unseal Naruto then he would essentially just be dead so yeah not very beneficial. If Jigen’s only strengths are his chakra and physical capabilities then how is that plot armor 💀 that’s just his fighting style, and he was still drained to almost nothing after that fight. If you haven’t noticed, almost the entirety of Naruto and Boruto is hard to quantify power. Literally some of the only numbers that’s ever thrown around for power scaling (minus calculating the energy of attacks) is stuff like “Kakashi said Naruto had 4x as much chakra, and 100x with Kurama, so half of Kurama has 100 Kakashi’s of chakra and full Kurama has 200.” Shit like that is the only type of numbers we have, also “Naruto outlasted Kurama in baryon mode and had 50% of his original chakra after, so 100% of Naruto’s chakra plus Kurama’s would be about 3 Kurama’s of chakra.” How you powerscale at least based off the narrative and fights is keeping it simple like Madara < Kaguya ≈ Momo < Fused Momo ≈ 100% Naruto < Naruto + Sasuke ≈ Jigen < Isshiki < BM Naruto. There I just scaled 3 different otsutsuki (5 including Jigen and both forms of Momo), it’s really not any different than scaling ninja. As for the chakra fruit, we see 4 different kinds I believe. Momo’s little chakra pills, the fruit he’s eating on that one planet, Kinshiki’s chakra fruit, and Kaguya’s. Those pills are tiny, that planet’s probably had minimal life, and especially not life that could use chakra, Kinshiki’s a full Otsutsuki turned into a fruit, and Kaguya ate a fruit that had shibai’s body on the planet, so pills < random planet fruit < Kinshiki fruit < Kaguya’s fruit. There I just scaled chakra fruits for you, and if there were to ever be a fruit made on earth again, than it would dwarf all the previous ones (all ninja in history + Hagoromo + shibai). Kishimoto stated himself he wanted the series to feel more like ninja again, which is why you don’t get mountain cutting, continent busting, meteor summoning, world wide genjutsu type abilities anymore, and the new villains have been written in a way to where it makes sense why they don’t. They don’t have to train to make complicated jutsu to be powerful all they do is eat physical chakra to gain fuck tons of power, which imo makes when Naruto and Sasuke take down these Otsutsuki it feels a whole lot better because all of their hard work and devotion to the ninja way has extended into literal god territory. Taijutsu heavy fights are the best kinds of fights especially when you sprinkle in some ninjutsu here and there at opportune moments, this is exactly how OG Naruto worked and that’s when “the show was about ninja.” The fact is that it doesn’t matter what abilities you use or don’t use, it’s the level at which you use it. It doesn’t credit or discredit the characters either way, power is just being expressed differently now. SPSM gave Naruto the ability to use truth seeking orbs, but not create them, they were gifted to him by Hagoromo, this is why the amount that he has slowly decreases across the war, into the Kaguya fight, and then the final valley. He only had 3 and used those 3 orbs in the final valley, it’s not a Boruto issue that like “they were taken away from him” or “he’s stupid he just doesn’t use them anymore” no you literally see him run out of them in Shippuden. I mean if the Dojutsu is boring and stupid to you then that’s just a personal opinion, but that doesn’t mean it’s weak. While Isshiki/Jigen was more physically powerful and had more chakra than Momo and Urashiki, both of them had Rinnegan, and they’re weaker than them. I’m not sure how those abilities would be practical at all in a fight that high of a level. There’s a reason that at some point the 6 paths abilities stop being used (deva, asura, etc.) because they’re effective against normal ninja but not god tier characters like naruto, Sasuke, Otsutsuki, shit even Obito and Madara. Madara uses limbo clones, Sasuke uses amenotejikara, Urashiki uses his time reversal, and Momoshiki uses his to amplify absorbed jutsu. The six paths abilities are just irrelevant except the deva path in specific situations (Momo used it to deflect Sasuke’s shuriken barrage). And again I described how SM Naruto countered those jutsu to show that a massively weaker character could deal with the Rinnegan’s base abilities, so how effective are they really against characters stronger?

Madara had lost kurama because hashirama took Kurama from him. And hashirama had to use his full power to do so. But if madara didn’t have Kurama, hashirama would have literally destroyed madara with ease.
The 1000 arms alone overpowered Tailed beast bombs with perfect susanoo swords, and still was able to strip off the perfect susanoo armor.
If hashirama wanted to he could easily killed Kurama and madara with a couple punches. But hashirama decided to preserve the 9 tails.

As we all should know… at the time, nobody was reanimated to their full power. Madara was the only one who was revived to his original power(maybe). As for what kabuto said… that madara was supposedly better than his prime (alive) self, was pure assumption by kabuto. Kabuto explained that he revived madara at the time to prove if his statement was right about enhancing madaras body to be superior. But Later after madara and hashirama fought, edo madara was demobilized by hashiramas gates. But the second madara was revived, Madara broke out of hashiramas gates. This heavily leans towards alive madara being stronger than his edo form, wouldn’t you think? Also with hashirama saying he is gaining his past strength. Which refers to madara gaining more strength than what he had in his reanimated form.

Boruto from what I've seen does not do a good job of showing the power Naruto and his opponents have. I have no question he would stomp every version of Madara, but it is a case of what SHOULD happen 20 years later, rather than knowing it. Sasuke should be well and above every version of Madara as well, but Sasuke doesn't get a chance to really pop off in Boruto either.
I just still can't get over the fact that he got owned by Black Zetsu of all people. If Kishimoto would have given it more thought, Sakura or Kakashi could have been a descendant of a third sibling or something rather than relying on old japanese sun and moon mythologies. Instead, he wrote himself into a corner after writing the natural conclusion of what Madara's power would be. He couldn't think of a way to best Madara because he designed Madara to counter the two main characters. A third would have been just enough to pull something crazy off. It would be awesome to see Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu be represented at the highest level in a 3-on-1 clash.

Underestimating Tsunade again. Alive madara is weaker than edo madara. No infinite chakra, no hashirama cells and no rennegang till death bed. He does not have as much chakra as Tsunade, Tsunade has punched everyone she has fought so saying sharingan is gonna make him avoid her is pointless. She is a master combatant and a taijutsu specialist - She bested madara in taijutsu and he got blown up for it. She can deflect his ninjutsu as shown in the 5 kage fights, Katsuyu acid can dmg his susanoo, madara can't harm Katsuyu, also when Tsunade releases byakugou seal with Katsuyu present, she will also be boosted as Katsuyu scales directly proportional to the seal. Also Katsuyu will provide Tsuande with defence if/when needed. Massive aoe acid that will be extremely difficult for madara to dodge that can be boosted by byakugou even further. Katsuyu can counter madara firestyle with acid, can trap madara in her body and possibly even suffocate him if he doesn't react with susanoo to become larger than the slug clone trying to do so. Seeing that madar is alive now, offensive medical ninjutsu will affect him. The only reason madara could keep up with Hashirama was because of the ninteails.
Alive Madara is stronger than Edo Madara. When Madara came back to life through rinne rebirth Hashirama said that Madara is regaining his past strength meaning alive valley of the end Madara>Edo Madara. Also Edo tensei don't have infinite chakra, they just recover it faster than alive people. He also wasn't even trying against them in the first place, all of them needed each other in order to fight him, since Tsunade is fighting Madara by herself this time, she isn't doing anything unless Madara doesn't take the fight seriously

Madara fought an even battle against Hashirama even without the Kyubi, as he lost him pretty early in the fight and was still able to destroy the Budha statue and fight Hashirama until he was almost out of Chakra.
