1992 is hands down my favorite nostalgia year for pop culture as a kid growing up. Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat in the Arcade, Megadeth, GNR & FNM Nirvana on MTV and Beverly Hills 90210 on TV as a guilty pleasure. Always miss the early 90s(though cars sucked back then)
Their music is so much different compare to the songs on this top 10 list along with their outfits, then nu metal happened some few years after they were only catching up to what Faith no more was doing and how they looked.
Don't get me wrong, I love faith no more but I think mtvs problem was they would put them and grunge bands on headbangers ball when they should have been on 120 minutes. More death metal would have been a smarter choice instead of turning headbangers ball into 120 minutes heavy edition.
If you noticed they referred to it as a "hard rock" countdown. MTV probably didnt want to use the word Metal anymore. Also I did see Faith No More on 120 Minutes btw. Soundgarden as well. There were bands who showed up on both shows.
I'm not sure if I have it (I'm basically rediscovering all this footage as I go through each of my many VHS tapes). If I run across it, I'll upload it. I might be able to trade for it as well if I can find someone who has it.

I think it was the peak of Rock/Metal mainstream wise, lots of diversity . Bunch of heavy and weird experimental bands got exposure.

As much as I love this band, the 92/93 years of them will always be my favourite.
I agree every musician /actor / athlete has their peak/prime years and Angel Dust Era is definitely Faith No Mores peak firing on all cylinders.
